No make sense to me,,Kano is not political rebeliant,,He is a murder of own people,,he is tired,afraid to sleep, eat,,he fears of own soldiers,,he does not have power to fight,,He lost..no choice ,,he want to survive ,,this is his reason to sight peace,,maybe he pays to get free

@mocny01 the reason he was looking suddenly for peace is because he lost his safe haven in Sudan. Omar Bashir had given arms and camps in, by government forces controlled parts of, south Sudan, from which the LRA could embark on their operations. In return the LRA had to help Khartoum to fight the SPLA. After the LRA and Khartoum signed a peacedeal Bashir didn't need the LRA anymore and used the expulsion of the LRA from Sudan as a bargaining chip with Uganda.
