Hey im buying a custom pc from alienware laptop I might go with Q9000 Quad 2 core @2.0 and a Dual gtx 280. Can that run crysis at max settings?

yes of course u can till 1920x1200 :) its SLI gtx280 and quad core Q9000 cpu. i am not sure about cpu@2.0ghz if it can handle SLI setup but its highly possible. Or lets say worst senario u can run at 1280x1024 at max without AA AF very stable.

So this is realy an old system for these days.

People going for Corei7 Cpu's, GT260-275-280-295 and 6gb rams...

So my pc is enuff for this small scene (small island) , its 1280x720 max details. And i suggest at least nvidia GTX260(216sp) for Crysis as graphic card.
