I was able to learn all those moves, but what I'm having trouble with is the belly movement in and out and side to side slowly. Like the one they do in shakira and beyonce's video? Any tips?

It's difficult to do at first. It really does take practice practice practice. You'll build muscle memory, which will make it easier every time you try.

Try tilting your hips in one direction. Then PULL straight up on the hip that's already up. Then scoop it out in a semicircular motion.

It's the same on the other hip, obviously, but again, it does just take a LOT of practice to make it flow smoothly. Hope that helps some!

yea me too! lol im the same way, i cant ever think of choreography myself, but Im slowly getting better at it by counting the beats in the music and listening. the music really does tell you what to do. this video is really neat and i would enjoy using some parts of it for my belly dance instruction class. :D

This is great for a beginner. Though, if i were to make it for a advanced,..well idk. the music is awesome, but the dance is just missing something. The dance, seems to have no emotion. idk, also the black outfit doesn't match the emotion of the song either. The song is happy, and energetic, the costume should be a bright blue or orange.

seems like you are so ignorant when it comes to bellydance. This choreography is very easy and encouraging for beginners. Sadie bellydance is hard, but sexless, mechanical, not graceful and cold (just like your personality). If you want to know what bellydance is supposed to be like, see Amar Kamel, or jillina.

yes, this is easy...but not in a good way, all bellydance choreography is easy, just this is so bland, slow ,and unoriginal it appears easier than the real thing...gawd its like some trophywife got bored, and took a few classes at the Y... The best advice I can give it to see if you can find a real live teacher in your area. No short video can substitute the input from a real teacher.

That's not a easy question to answer in text. The best way to teach your body to keep a rhythm or execute a movement is to get with a real live teacher that can guide you.
