Ive emailed WWE about Wargames several times. I think it would be great, but in reality WWE is probably moving further away from that possibility. Heres why I think so. Wargames was at the annual ppv Wrestlewar which was renamed Fall Brawl. WWE had Survivor Series around Thanksgiving in the fall. WWE has recently phased out the Survivor Series concept. Wargames was basically a Survivor Series type of match, in an enclosed cage. Adding the Wargames match to Survivor Series seemed logical.

The double ring is a much better idea than the triple cage. The triple cage was a cluster fuck in WCW and it would be in WWE too. You have to remember the triple cage was a product of vince russo and there's a reason it, and WCW don't exist anymore

problem with war games, is that there arent really any real stables anymore, youve got tag teams, and all that, but since evolution if im not mistaken there havent been any stables (outside of legacy)

I personally think the Arn Anderson injury really hurt war games.

Arn Anderson was brilliant in all of them and once he stopped wrestling in them they lost steam.

Pre 1996 they were all awesome (Yes I liked it in 1995)

1996 it was more about pushing the story but it was alright. Great crowd and Luger was excellent.

1997- Not too huge on this one (Like I said No Arn Anderson)

1998- Hated it.

I rather have WWE release a Best of Wargames DVD if they ever do and see where it goes from there. I never seen Wargames before so having a DVD would boost sales. Wargames is WCW's version of the royal rumble and shouldn't be brought into WWE. WWE has Elimination Chamber which is kinda like Wargames or the successor to it. WWE could have a storyline where you have Raw vs Smackdown vs ECW in a storyline or even Shane vs Stephanie for power of WWE.

A good idea, love the war games match and would love to see it brought back as a pay per view. Imagine we could have one match from Raw and one from Smackdown.

RAW wargames main event could be The Legacy vs Batista, Mysterio, CM Punk and Kofi Kingston.

Smackdown war games main event: Edge, Christian, Chavo and The Big Show vs HHH, The Hardyz and The Undertaker.

If the two ring thing is a problem for Vince, I would argue that it doesn't absolutely have to be two cages. Like its been said, TNA does Lethal Lockdown every year with 8-10 guys with one ring which is smaller than the standard WWE ring. During the Weekly PPV Era, TNA also put on that "Wednesday Bloody Wednesday" War Games match but with one ring, and it turned out fine.

I think the taking up seats excuse is a bad one. A rectangular dual ring set-up has a larger perimeter and thus more front row seats, and second row seats behind that, third row seats and so on. You lose by having less seats the furthest back from the ring on the floors. You have more high price front row tickets to make up for less low price back floor tickets. If you charge right (well not right, but effectively) you can stand to make more.

So the war games match would be

Team Raw (CTC and Punk) vs Legacy (Orton, Rhodes, Dibiase, Maybe Harry Smith.)

But the odds this happening is pretty off Especially if Vince has to use two rings, but heres a thought! Why don't they just use to cages instead.(See: Al Snow vs Bossman, Kanel From Hell)

There are 2 more ways i thought of, WWE could make a more similar to war games match, they could use the chamber, 3 teams in it, 6 chambers, 3 wrestlers start, every minute a wrestler is released from his chamber. It would be a cool match. But if people really wanna see wargames they should make a really big noise that can shake the ground from under vince, e.g. lots and lots of views for war game's matches on youtube/dailymotion/etc, maybe buy the wcw ppv's involving wargames.

Yeah, and WWE was supposed to win the Monday NIght Wars. WCW didn't even beat WWE in some attendance records and buyrates but still won in ratings and were considered the bigger company. It matters what the company can do. You are talking about TNA which in turn is promoting them. No matter how big a company is, they always watch other companies around them. WCW and WWE did it with ECW, I'm sure WWE does it with TNA today.

The idea solution would be make Wargames a Hell in a Cell variant. This would not only give it the WWE stamp, but would solve the problem of one ring not having enough space to work in. The best ppv to do it on would surely be Survivor Series.

I hate the Lockdown concept because to me it asks way too much of the wrestlers to go out there and have 8 cage matches. I remember when they announced the first one in 2005 and thought "What the fuck?!?!" Ive enjoyed every Lockdown to some degree & I love having Lethal Lockdown, but I still think 8 cage matches in one show is way too much.

Lockdown is something new. It is a new concept. TNA is smart to make a PPV dedicated to something.WWE had survivor Series being just elimination matches, but have left that tradition over the years that it isn't about Surviving anymore. Be glad TNA is keeping a tradition alive. If they just build feuds to end at Lockdown it will mean more and make more sense.

I understand that & for the most part Lockdown has delivered some really good stuff but I remember when they first announced the concept & hearing interviews with AJ where he said he didnt like it.

Having 8 cages is essentially having 8 main events & that is very hard to pull off & it results in various stinkers to try & make each match different (every LD to date has had at either one over gimmicked match, one stinker, or both)

Though AJ today and after Lockdown enjoyed it. As for most people involved in it. TNA just needs to not place fillers at the event and it will be better. Have 7 matches total. Lethal Lockdown, Xscape match, and the rest being simple cage matches. All the matches have meaning and there will be no problem. All the belts on the line at the event and ending of major feuds there.

Simple solution for me, although it's not quite wargames. You book an eight man Hell in a Cell, with guys entering every five minutes. Match has to go at least a half hour, but it solves a lot of the problems with war games in WWE.

Have 1 on 1, or Tag team matches each week, and have a scoreboard, and the last two teams left can settle it in a 3 on 3 Elimination Cage/HiaC match. PCW did something like that. They called it "Fight Win Survive". I was...pretty awesome.
