  • I don't see any rock guards on those wheels... (I know, I know...)

  • Beechcraft Builds it better :)

  • IT is still ok to give an initial burst of reverse to get the deceleration started but you have to come out of reverse into fine at a fairly high speed to avoid fod.

  • was reverse thrust used on this landing? just wondering because looks like theres a very high chance of FOD damage.

  • @Flightkid9 Reverse thrust is not used on gravel landings. The judicious use of ground fine is acceptable.

  • @KSharp320 ok, I was just curious

  • @Flightkid9 You were absolutely correct with respect to FOD damage. The use of full reverse never an option unless in an emergency situation. However, upon landing, pulling the levers into full reverse is acceptable only if once you've reached full reverse travel, you bring the levers immediately out of reverse. Can be thought of as giving a quick shot of reverse, without holding the levers in the full reverse position

  • @KSharp320 oh, I didn't know that, I've only flown 172's,182's and some gliders, I can't wait until I get my PPL and than I hope to get my multi engine.

  • @Flightkid9 every operation trains different ways. This is one of the methods I teach in my groundschools. Good luck, work hard and fly often

  • Our family gold mine is 50kms from this video as the crow flies. More or Less.
