@soseg, deadlyinertia is correct hypothetically as you can feather props to inverse pitch but this is only 12 not 21degrees turn so the power is not the same, also many props would crack at full revers pitch and revs

It`s more difficult with a 172 because this Dash-6 is a short takeoff and landing aircraft! It can stop very fast! Try it!
