The only reason drugs are illegal is because the pharmacy would get blown away by drugs that are safer and cheaper than what they make., not for your safety. Just because they are legal doesn't even mean you have to do them. The jail system would get a well needed relief from releasing people wrongly incarcerated just because they did something that is taboo to others. This is just one giant bigoted country if u ask me.

@brongarago either way drugs kill people and ruin lives. It doesn't matter how many people it kills compared to other things. Drugs can permanently scar you mentally and get you addicted. I would rather drugs to be off the street and not commercialized.

The world is a dangerous place it is not the government's job to hold your hand around every corner you need to make decisions for yourself. Keeping drugs off the street is impossible with out putting our nation even further into debt.The best course of action is to legalize drugs and then try to make a profit and put it towards are 13 some trillion dollar debt.

If the government legalized drugs there would be a lot less crime for many reasons. Firs,t the drugs would be sold in a safe environment. Second, the drugs themselves would be safe because we would regulate what is put in them. Third, it would help so many people instead of wasting money on some drug pushed by some big pharmacy you could buy something safer..
