Not at the moment but all the stations between stratford and shenfield (and romford already) are going to have ticket barriers installed with oyster readers for pay as you go, not sure when exactly but it will definately be completed by 2017 when crossrail take over the metro services on the line. So maryland forest gate ilford seven kings goodmayes chadwell heath gidea park harold wood brentwood and shenfield currently have no barriers but those days are numbered.
