Sure the new enhancements look good, but the basic models and such as still the 10 year old quality and low polygon count, with some exceptions. I think they should redo/increase the player/toon model detail and use more detailed textures there.

I've been building computers for a long time buddy, but it still doesn't take a genius to figure out that Alienware charge 40-50% more than what the parts are actually worth. You're paying for a fancy case with lights (which you can just buy for $60-$80).

I'm running a pathetic 8400GS and have noticed that the ONLY thing that can drastically affect FPS is shadow quality. I usually play on ultra settings, but if I leave the shadow on it's highest then I get like ~5 FPS. As soon as I turn it right down, I rocket up to 70 FPS (with everything else maxed).

@screamingcow16 Incorrect. Vsync tries to cap your FPS to your monitor's refresh rate. That might be OK if your PC can draw frames AS FAST or FASTER than the monitor's refresh rate (60-70 fps). BUT many times it results in jerks and slowdowns if the core FPS is not steady. Turning Vsync OFF lets the gfx card render frames as fast as it can without those random jerks, etc., with the downside being "screen tearing" - only if your view is changing quickly (e.g. rotate view quickly).

Other hardcore raiders are in Dalaran all day long to queue for dungeons to get new get that will be useless in the upcomming expansion pack since it will be replaced by blues and greens anyway. Depends on how you play, of course i also do dungeons and raids. But not constanly. : )
