That is stunning, thanks for taking the time to share with us. I always wondered how that was done, and your technigue makes me think I could almost do it, a simple one... really simple, haha
I have read just about every book on making face canes cuz I want to make some so badly. But seeing your video just put it all into perspective. It never crossed my mind to use a drawing and to always be making sure it lines up with the clay. I think I will actually be able to do it now. Great tips!! I cannot thank you enough for making this video.
Ive been working with polymer clay since being introduced to it in my Sophomore year of high school, 7 years ago. I thought I had a pretty good handle in intricate beads, but this technique has to be the single most helpful tip Ive ever seen. This makes all the oh-so detailed beads so much more concievable. Thanks lady :) great work.
Awesome work friend! Very impressive. I am mostly a fine artist and I just got a batch of clay tonight. This helps inspire me. Thanks so much for sharing. Don't forget to add me as a friend too. Looking forward to seeing more! Bigg hugs-Shonna
This is way beyond my current abilities so I was watching this sort of like watching a glassblower, just being amazed by what you do. As I progress, I think I'll come back to this and start trying the techniques. Really cool work.
Fabuluous!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to get right on making one of my own. Except for now I need you to show me how to draw a decent set of lips and an appropriate nose.
This is amazing. I was wondering if you have heard of the nails art canes? I'm want to know how to make them can you please help me or at least point me in the right direction to find help. Thanks and great JOB and Talent
Nice clear video. Some close ups at points would be nice to see just to clarify what was being done. What I liked most though was the himt to make your own bent blade with duct tape, ingenious.
real cool, but what is the use of checking with the pattern constantly if the design will only be a passing resemblance of the picasso face. i would have gone further from the pattern and used my own sense of aesthetics. but that is only me. it was a good job.
Great video! - those cuts are amazing! -and practice helps! - As a person who has made hundreds of face canes - you did a great job Cynthia -Barbara McGuire

Wow. I always wondered what the technique was in making things like faces or other pictures. The outcome was really cool, especially with the hair.
