  • I have read just about every book on making face canes cuz I want to make some so badly. But seeing your video just put it all into perspective. It never crossed my mind to use a drawing and to always be making sure it lines up with the clay. I think I will actually be able to do it now. Great tips!! I cannot thank you enough for making this video.

  • Ive been working with polymer clay since being introduced to it in my Sophomore year of high school, 7 years ago. I thought I had a pretty good handle in intricate beads, but this technique has to be the single most helpful tip Ive ever seen. This makes all the oh-so detailed beads so much more concievable. Thanks lady :) great work.

  • Wow. I always wondered what the technique was in making things like faces or other pictures. The outcome was really cool, especially with the hair.

  • YOU. . .ARE. . .AMAZING! <3

  • Wow, how do you not get lost? It seems so intricate!

  • wow!! no words!!

  • At the beginning I had no idea what it was going to be.. but I'm amazed, very cool result!

  • Nice clear video. Some close ups at points would be nice to see just to clarify what was being done. What I liked most though was the himt to make your own bent blade with duct tape, ingenious.

  • Tnank u 4 sharing great stuff

  • real cool, but what is the use of checking with the pattern constantly if the design will only be a passing resemblance of the picasso face. i would have gone further from the pattern and used my own sense of aesthetics. but that is only me. it was a good job.

  • Ever try making life figures out of skincolor polymer clay....

  • Great video! - those cuts are amazing! -and practice helps! - As a person who has made hundreds of face canes - you did a great job Cynthia -Barbara McGuire
