I wish someone had some really old WAVE footage from the mid-60s, when my dad was stationed at Fort Knox. That would be cool to see again (even though it was almost 44 years ago for me).

Do you have the "Hello Kentucky" sign-on that WAVE (and several other Kentucky stations) used back in the 80s and probably before that? I've been looking for the music to that jingle -- it was my favorite promotional for any TV station...

"Good morning and welcome to WAVE 3, the Spirit of WAVE Country. Together with NBC, we are celebrating the spirit of WAVE Country..and the Spirit of WAVE Country is growing. Since August of 1990, we've been broadcasting from Oldham County, KY. Standing over 1700 ft, our tower is the tallest structure in the state. I remember I was only 5-6 years old and this is one thing I can remember from that age is watching the towercam on WAVE with the Music playing before they went on the air.
