This trick is most useful in a speedrun, where you purposely skip as much things as possible to get through the game extra fast.

Listen to playstation sounds. Once the immediate whirrs calm down after changing the weapon, it's usually loaded.

how you jump like this? i jump with the wings woth the hammer, press L1, pause to the power-up screen, give back in a choice of sub-weapons, select hammer again, unpause, press L1 AGAIN, but instead Kratos fall with the hammer, Kratos fall wth the Athena's Blades in the form of Cross-protection, and the Hammer still unavailable to use for a few seconds! please help to jump like you

The timing is important. First of all, wait for a few seconds after changing sub-weapon in the power-up screen, just to make sure that the weapon has loaded. Secondly, after exiting the screen, press R2 before trying to L1 again. The timing has to be precise - too early and you will fall down, too late and you won't rise up.

At its simplest, it's just a sub-weapon switch at the height of a jump (while you're wielding that sub-weapon).

Wow! After about 10 high jumps in a row I get nervous and screw up. I also have to have the pause menu up for about 5-6 seconds or the high jumps aren't possible. Yet on your video it seems like there is no need for a pause screen delay as the sub-weapon reloads. Hmm. Nice job with the skip! How long did it take to figure it would take like 40 high jumps? lol.

The speed you can do repeated MotKs depends on your disc's and PS2's condition (because it is a matter of loading) and also the locale (for some reason it works better in other places, period).

Originally I just wanted to see whether the upper level was loaded at all, and I knew there weren't such things as infinite walls in this game.

2.)but i was trying right from the bottom. i just pass in one try and after that never get the proper hight to pass through it......

3.useing chain and poseiden range in middle (when you stop getting hight) is good one.

Actually, I did it from ground level once too, and the area above loaded like normal.

Saves more than 2 minutes (comparing to Shen's easy BP run).

Another nice part is that with Z's new skip for the Translator, we don't have to run very far from where we land, or push the time statue anywhere.

Dammit! This is the save which doesn't have AotF with it and I don't feel like jumping over walls right now. What a dilemma...
