  • Line up according to the back on my bootleg copy of the original LP this wad taken from:

Mike Cotton (trumpet, harmonica and lead vocals), John Beecham (trombone), Johnny Crocker (clarinet, tenor/alto sax), Stu Morrison (bass), Tony Pitt (guitar), Dave Rowberry (keyboards) and Jimmy Garforth (drums).

  • Probably Jimmy Garforth on drums and John Crocker on Sax, maybe also John Beecham and Stu Morrisson, but the jazzmen left one by one to return to their roots. John an Stu joined Chris Barber, John Beecham joined Monty Sunshine and Jim joined Rod Mason Ian Wheeler Jass band. Mike himself played trumpet with Acker Bilk for several years.

  • More I listen to this , more I love it. I could easily see Mr Fame doing this. Very reminisent of his style.

  • Was'nt it Dave Rowberry that replaced Alan Price in the Animals ? Wonder if it is the same one? Before black yank Lucas ,who sang for the MCS? ANSWERS ON A POSTCARD PLEASE..

  • The one and same Mr Rowberry from the Animals

  • Super track ! New to me and I'm lovin' it ! Excellent. I'd love to hear the l.p.

  • Ain't heard the album...seen it once...up there with Graham Bonds 'Sound of 65'
