  • @malladore my nightingale in season 2.... Where turk asks carla to marry him!! It's a classic!!!

  • the janitor had the best part of this.

  • haha 1:00 J.D. is like "uuuhhhh ok..."

  • ok i thought i had saw every episode of Scrubs but i dont remember this scene... what season/episode is this?

  • oh shit i just noticed that was kim

  • At 1:16 I swear the woman in the middle is lady from later in scrubs

  • The best ending was the final one, atleast in my opinion prior to the whole med-school stuff, so full of hope while completely capturing the tone of the series, still get teary watching it.

  • That wasn't Kim, was it?

  • amazing voice

  • wait a sec.... who died?

  • @cheybug394 a one ep character who was a patient in the hospital and she and JD got along well specially when it came to debating to what happens when you die, what do you see ect

  • @KenshiImmortalWolf plus they hsve fun annoying doctor cox :P

  • Turk and the janitor have a great voice.. Would have been nice if they used that more in the show..

  • @mikillero Thank you so much for saying, "Would have" instead of, "Would of" in your comment.. I really, honestly appreciate it...

  • This ending, followed by Ben's death then My Finale part 2. Those are my favs.

  • I cried at this wen i first saw it

    love you JD xxx

  • 0:10

Dr. Cox is massaging someone back to life :D

  • This is a good ending, my but personal favorite is the ending for "My Fallen Idol"

  • Who died ?

Why was J.D so sad that she died ?xx

  • Elaine died...She was on the list for a hearth transplant and because she went to the hospital a lot she and J.D. had a friendly relationship and he gets sad in a way and happy in an other way because, in this episode, they discuss how death is like and she hopes its like a big Broadway musical...So he gets sad because she dies and happy because he could imagine the way she wanna die

  • @BMBfreitas

    Ohh right ;)

    Thank-you :)

  • where did you get this episode??

  • 1:25 it's Lady!! (from season 6+)

  • 1:20 is that the Janitor's wife Lady?

    Mind. Blown.

  • yeh it is

  • Yep, except she's a doctor on a fellowship grant, called 'Dr Mitchell', she has an office next door to Kelso which prevents him from expanding.

  • scrubs! the best show ever made

  • 0:09- That is a terrible performance of CPR Dr. Cox. You want straight arms right over the victim with locked elbows!

  • You do realise scrubs is a comedy right.

  • So this is supposed to be funny instead of sad?

  • Sad has nothing to do with his cpr skills as an actor?

  • The shows has medical advisers on site for each episode, blame the medical advisers, not the actor.

  • hey this is a colin hay song!!!

  • Yeah...i think this ep is one of those that Zach Braff wrote the script for, and he loves Colin Hay so....yeah...and as you might have noticed he was a guest in the first episode....

  • colin hay is really cool actualy. (i've met him and his wife. i even got his autogrpah on his c.d. which at the time had not been released in stores.)

sorry i just had to brag about that. lol.

but he really is a nice person.

  • @musicchannel546 I completely agree with you. I met him in October 2007 in Melbourne at a place called "The Peninsula Lounge". It is just off the Mooroduc Freeway which is around the area he grew up in after moving to Australia from Scotland.

I was quite surprised there were a few other guys there from Scotland, myself included. He was quite interested in seeing what brought me there and why i was watching him perform as at the time i was 22 years old. Scrubs was my reason, of course.

  • This is a really good ending but I however disagree with this being the best. The end of My Finale Pt. 2 is, in my opinion, the best ending.

  • the ending is touching.

  • which episode was this?

  • 1:15, the women at the desk is Lady, ya know the Janitior's girlfriend later in the series!!

  • OH MY GOD! it is!!! haha wow!

  • @partygirl209 thank you for telling us that, stupid girl...

  • @IRAQI6TNT well, 10 thumbs up isn't a stupid comment!!

  • @partygirl209 congrats for having 10 thumbs up u loser. next time think a little before giving any spoilers.

  • @IRAQI6TNT why don't u just go and watch Scrubs episodes!!

  • @partygirl209 no time, no time!!!

  • @IRAQI6TNT bummer!!

  • aww ..wow

  • what was the story line of this episode, i remember seeing it, but i cant remember the storyline

  • erm i think its when jd is scared of facing his fears

and she wasnt scared about death and she talked about how she imagines death as a broadway show

  • i liked when they ended it with midnight train

  • Don't Stop Believin', not Midnight Train.

  • Colin 'hay' james - Waiting for my real life to begin

  • whats the namne of this song ? :)

  • its an alright ending but i think the best ending (also the best episode in my opinion) was the one where ben died and at the end, the audience realises that ben had died and not that random patient...brilliant episode =)

  • This Is One Of My Fave Endings But I Think My Fave One Has To Be When Dr. Kelso Breaks The Door Open And Gives His Speech To The Overweight Girl And Then He Says The Best Quote Ever. 'Nothing In Life Worth Having Comes Easy'

  • oh yeah I forgot about that one...I liked that ending because it did what scrubs does best combined drama and comedy, with Eliot being stuck in the grave and Kelso trying to steal a haircut lol

  • what episdoe is this and what season

  • Ty 4 sharing clip ! live the way you chose to end it!!

Cox: Are you gonna me okay?

    Few seconds of silence

    JD: Yeah..

    Nice nice nice, thumbs up

  • whats that language as the subtitle on the clip?

  • I think it's portuguese. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

  • This is one of my fave endings. Sad yet hopeful.

  • So sad.

  • they use a LOT of Colin Hay songs in this show. I really loved this episode.

Fact about Scrubs is that if you find yourself really liking a patient you can count on them dying.

This show has a way of really using music almost as another character in the show.

  • i thought the best part of scrubs was wen the frays song called how to save a life was on and 3 of dr cox's patients died thats a sad but best part eva

  • Just saw this syndicated today. It is the best ending on Scrubs. Honorable mention is Ben's (played by Brandon Frasier) funeral.

  • which episode is this?

  • Is that lady with kelso and ted lady?

  • Haha It totally is. They throw in stuff like that, Snoop Dog Intern/resident was in the first (And I think second) Seasons. Then Vanished.. Then came back again =P

  • as snoop dog attending :)

  • the new episode wit the black man dying, that one is pretty sad

  • The few of no talking at the end after JD says "Yeah" add to it. Odd that without the silence I don't think it would be the same.

  • i think episode ten season 7 is the sadest ending

  • waiting for my real life to begin by colin hay

  • I agree m8! this is so good! touches me emotionally, i actually got a tear down the chik !!

    I am a male.

  • JD reaction is amazing. Combination of saddness/loss and awe.

  • This ending is quite emotional. Always made me well up. Plus I loved that patient. She was ace.

  • idiots its portugese :-D

  • What language are the subs in out of curiosity(sp?)?

  • I think its Italian

  • portuguese

  • That makes sense ^^ Thanks ^^ All I knew was that it was similar to Spanish, which could be any of three other languages I barely know XD (<-Is in Spanish 4 in school)

  • Colin hay is my idol =)

  • Sorry season 2

  • It was season 3, I think.

  • The song is Waiting for my real life to begin" by Colin Hay

  • She believed when you begin to die, your life becomes a musical.

  • Is this a real song or one they just made for the show?

  • Yes its a real song.

It's waiting for my real life to begin by Colin Hay who also appers in the episode my overkill in season 2 playing a guitar. and he also apears in season 6 when he & his guitar pop out of Kim's vagaina XD

  • and hes the final song of season 2 with my brilliant feat

  • Oh yeah, i forgot about that. :)

  • Her name was Julie Tracy. She was there to get a new heart.

  • its not julie tracy, dunno who it is

    julie tracy died of rabies

  • Season 2, episode 13 - My philosophy.

    ;)

  • what show is this?

  • scrubs buddy

maybe if you read the goddamn title

  • What are you, gay?

  • god, i just love this!

    repeat!

  • ooooh :-((

    very sad end!

its season 2 I think. But i Don´t know the episode. I look at my Scrubs Season 2 DVD, than i told you the episode.

  • who is thiat that dies then?

  • I love this show..they realy need to make more seasons =(

  • this is a moment where you relize that this is a great comedy/drama

  • makes me feel sad :(

  • What episode/season is this?

  • haha, she can't sing, so i don't think her singing would've made it better.

  • amen

  • and is it anywho else who thinks dr.cox CPR looks poor?? but anywho, good song =)

  • it looks funny the way he does it lol

  • this is the best episode ever

  • noooooo =O the 1 with doctor cox and the fray song was the best 1 ever u can never beat that!

  • id say thats the saddest episode and this is the best

  • surely the saddest episode is when ben dies and joshua radin plays winter

  • yeah i think so

  • The song is called "waiting for my real life to begin" by Colin Hay

  • i never realized till now that colin hay is in scrubs a lot. there was overkill, this, and that one little part where kim's giving birth and he pops out and sings i come from a land down under. bill lawrence must love colin

  • nope, it's Zach Braff that loves Colin Hay

  • i dont think its him that influences the colin hay tho mate, the sound team, proper like him it says in one of the dvd extras

  • The blonde lady is hot!!

  • what song is this anyone know i mean someone prob asked before but what is it called?

  • waiting for my real life to begin, by colin hay

  • they seem to like colin hay

    dont they

  • who died?

  • the chick who is singing

  • how is called song?

  • the girl doctor singing with ted is the same lady that plays the janitors girlfriend

  • oh it's lady lol

  • scrubs is the best show ever. i swear

  • agreed

  • Which episode is this..

I thought I'd seen all of them lol

  • Season 2 Episode 13 "My Philosophy"

  • i think its so funny when the janitor sings to jd...

  • Not only was that sad (I still loved it), but it reminds me of my ex girlfriend. We used to watch this show all of the time. I miss the hell out of her....

  • Cox throwing away the defibrillator punctuates it beautifully.

  • in this clip, i love carla's part the most... she only sings for like 3 seconds but i love it...

  • u wouldnt expect them all to sing that well

  • yeh i knew that, oh and by the way i dont think this is the best ending.

i reckon the best ending is the one from my fallen idol. when doctor cox doesnt show up to work and jd gives him the speech. its an emotional ending its really good.

    its my favourite.

  • honestly i don't think this was the sbest ending ever. i think the end of his story 3 was the best. don't get me wrong though this is one of the better ones

  • wow.

i didnt realise that the janitor had such a good voice, he can sing really well.

and teds voice is amazing, he looks like a dud but he has great vocals. doesnt he have a band or something?

  • yeah. you know the a capella band he always sings with in scrubs? that's his real life band. they're called The Blanks

  • notice how elliot doesnt sing. its cause shes awful at it lol check out her voice in the musical in season six, nasty

  • true. Sarah Chalke mentions it in the bonus features of the DVD

  • lol janitor

  • What ep is this from? i don't recognise it.

  • Its season 2 An Episode called "my philosophy"

  • turk has a really great singing voice.

  • nonono! this song is called : waiting for my real life to begin by colin hay..nothing else

  • Is this Colin Hays, Waiting for my new life to begin?

  • Actually "Men at Work" which Colin Hay was the lead singer in.

  • aw, that last part where they're all standing there singing is so staged and show-choiry and endearing. : )

  • the deal with the girl is that they just reuse characters like Lloyd the truck driver

  • i just realised the girl in the white coat that ted put his hand on her shoulder is janitors gf in season 7

  • i did not notice that until u said it weird but awesome this episode always made me sad when the ending came

  • Those are Portugese subtitles, and they're there for those who can't speak English as well as native speakers. Try to have some respect, ok?

  • i'm gonna have to say, no. there are others that are better endings. i dont even like this song. sry.

  • This always confused me. Is that woman who is seated between Ted and Dr. Kelso the same woman who plays "Lady" The Janitors girlfriend?

  • this is the best ending ever

  • this is Episode 2.13, "My Philosophy"

  • has scrubs ended?!?! plzzzzzzz tell me someone!

  • no, the 7th season is playing right now, thursdays at 9:30 on nbc

  • oooo rite is the 7th the last?

  • Yes it´s the last season kind of sad:'(

  • r u sereous!!!??????

  • yea im realli gunna miss it :(

  • nah, every other thursday night there is a new scrubs episode. however, we are in the last season

  • no................

  • no it hasn't, the next season is the final season.

i think i'm going to cry...

  • The song is Colin Hay - Waiting for my real life to begin.

A big title but thats it

  • Wow. I love this ending so much. It's one of the most beautiful moments in the entire show.

  • what episode was that?

  • no its this girl

  • oh my...

    who dies?? is it elliot??

    please someone tell me!!

  • NO it's a patient they have who says she wants death to be like a broadway show finale.

  • kelso's voice is so flat when he sings!

  • agree

  • the reason the 7th season is going to be the last one is b/c they don't want to pay zach braff so much every episode.

  • do you know when season 7 starts.

  • oct. 25

  • I love this song.. one of my fav episode. Gona miss scrubs when it's all said and done.
