This music was utilized extensively in '2001: A Space Odyssey'. Ligeti's works made that movie the masterpiece it is. Kubrick's cinematography are the appropriate images and scenes to be paired with this and 'Atmospheres', as well as 'Requiem', not these paltry, sad little YouTube pictures.
This piece pretty much accomlpishes the same aesthetic feat that Rothko did in his later career: an embrace of the nothing; a reverence of time; an evocation of the cosmos breathing with us, not only in the moment, but in the forever; Ligeti and Rothko guide you into the empty darkness, destroying your mamilian narcissm, thereby helping you gain everything. It's an immeasurable expression of happiness, humility, ecstacy, and pride.
My friend was really way high when i showed him the "Mana Mana" of the muppets, and he had a terrible trip. Maybe if I show him this next time the trip will be tremendously worst.
I don't do drugs, but listening to it I feel very very funny, so to speak.
Amazing photos and amazing sounds... This is what we can call "sensorial sinexstesia"... I think all this isn't so far from ecstasy... Most beautiful thing i ever seen! Congratulations! 5 stars

Every time I listen to this incredible piece, it mades me think of some words of Goethe:
"The origin of the colors is the grief of the light."

These are the sounds of the eternity and another reality. Also the group Pink Floyd has made such music atmosphere at the composition Echoes.
Thank you for this video.
