  • I Do not believe it. Dig a tiny hole at the magnet surface, and glue a tiny mirror there, then use a laser to be reflected there as it spins. The frequency at a light sensor will proof what you say.

  • 150000 rpm is really high .. it's so so high ... it's impossible that this ball is spinning at 150000 rpm, it's even impossible to be spinning at 50000 rpm

  • Energy contained in the spinning sphere: ~ 1.566 Joules

  • Man your RPM is off....

  • A turbo on a diesel truck engine spins around 100,000 rpm and sounds like your rotor and also your motor is sycronous so at 150,000 cycle per second it must spin at 150,000 rpm, I wonder how much kinetic energy it stores at full speed, I like it!

  • TOUCH IT

  • It sounds loke that andry cat in the beginning.

  • Friend, you must check this...

    /user/gfcgamer

This is my video, the hole must be on solid bronze, the cup not so tiny, also not bigger than the bronze.

The water must be flowing well.

    How mix Ideas here?

As the cup closes the water flow, the cup goes up as water pulsing back from sudden stop.

Them the water keep the cup in position and the hit with kilos of water bring down so fast that kick up again.

  • i bet if you dropped the magnet into an alumium or copper bowl it would hover/float for a short time, in fact if you use a disk magnet it should with the gyro effect just hang there in midair over the bowl, you think you could try that? hell even the bottom of a soda can might work with how fast it is spinning even with how thin it is, could you make a video of that? anyway great video, what are you using to power the coil?

  • becarefull too fast spinning could cause the magnet to shatter.

  • Ok , now make a car please

  • For a moment there sounded like a classic falling bomb sound effect :P

  • nice video amazing motor now build it on a bigger scale!!!

  • MY cats would love it!

  • those speeds would be perfect for an anti gravity device

  • every 50,000 revolutions changes the pitch pretty cool i want to build a bidini motor like that

  • I somehow doubt that was 150,000 RPM, the acoustics of it were up into the 8-10Khz region which would suggest that it is only going around 8000 RPM. You may have been pumping the coils at 150Khz but that doesnt mean the RPM was that fast. Get a tachometer on it, paint a white band around the magnet so that you can measure it. Then you'll know the real speed, which isnt anywhere near 150K RPM.

  • @element2310 I appreciated you comment but I knew you wrong because 8000 RPM =133.3 HZ, I remember what 1 HZ =1 cicle in a second no in a minut, A paint magnet is impossible because disappear by high speed.8000 to 10000 HZh ,With you say = 8000-10000 RP in a second no in a minut by example 10000Hzx60seg= 600.000 RPM very high for me in this moment, in this experiment the neodimio magnet straight to 2500 Hz = 150000RPM,thx for you comment a greetings.

    P.D:Sorry me low level english

  • @alfacentauro1111 You tell him bro!

  • @alfacentauro1111 Try pump it up as fast as possibe. I want to see a record beaten in electric motors RPM!

What is the current RPM record for electric motors?

  • @element2310

Are you stupid? Hertz are per second, which means that by your calculations it was spinning 8000-10,000RPS, or 540,000-600,000RPM.

So obviously you can't accurately detect the RPM by the noise frequency it makes.

  • Cool, also from this system it whould be nise to see a scheme. When You work with two coils it's more like a Jozef Newman system/motor.

  • you should sooo let that ball roll after!!! lol

  • you should try to add an electrical charge to the ball at high rpms and see what you get.

  • try to grab it :D

  • now how can we put this to use ?

  • Is that a bifilar coil or trifilar? Can you explain the coil, what it's made of?

    Thanks for sharing.

  • cual es el diagrama??? quiero hacer uno igual igualito

  • 150 miles per hour

  • I was curious, is the Neodymium magnet spinning with the North and South pole flipping end over end? or is it spinning with the North pole pointing upwards and the South pole pointing downwars or vice/versa? In other words, are the North and South poles perfectly stationary pointing in one direction, either up or down? or are the poles actually tumbling over eachother? Thanks for the great video, that is really fast!

  • Thank you for the commentary Well, summarizing:

two coils,1 coil for trigger signal, and other coil is North pole but only with 1 coil is triggering, neodimio is spinning with 2 coil North in coil in moment north neodimiun

I hope undertand me, me english is very bad sorry

    A greetings :)

  • Very cool! (but you do know you could archive the same result with 90 psi of compressed air at an optimum angle,...right?) BTW, how are you quantifying 150K? Metallurgical considerations here...IF you WERE spinning this thing up to 150K, any metallurgical flaw in the magnet could, would, cause catastrophic failure, with fragmentation that could kill. BE CAREFUL!

  • Thx for comment :), yes is very high speed exactly :

    0.8xpi x 2500 rev/sec = 62.83 m/s = 226 Km/h,

    I have careful

    A greeting

  • Where is measuring device.

  • In me other video name :how do you it`s spinning at 150000RPM?

    The measure is with oscilloscope

    A greeting

  • I´ve only seen air turbines do these speeds before. This is a sphere neo magnet, no ?

  • only neo magnet and electromagnetic field :)

  • Nice. Unfortunately, no torque without a rotor. =)

  • Excellent experiment. Great video.

    Bill

  • What circuit are you using...... and what components....2n3055 transistor?? Type of diodes used?? resistor values??? size of wire on coil?? power supply?? was there a charge battery??

Please post another video, I think you really have something here!!!

  • nice

  • you know if you take some of that power and um make it go faster it might hit a very super sonic speed :) Must be carefull ok. You don't want things flying like my long ago magnet motor did. One of the magnets was not fastened correctly and few across the room very quickly jsut on testing. Awsome video :)

  • :), for high speed I prefer magnets ball, the rotors are dangerous to high speed, once take a small magnet over the barrier of the sound:).

Thank you for your commentaries and he excuses English me

  • RPM overrated.

    Torque underappreciated.

  • wow, how did you make that?

  • ok, first question is,,, how do you know it's spinning at 150,000?

  • Hi please look me new video name "how do you know it's spinning at 150,000RPM?" Thx

Por favor mira mi nuevo video "how do you know it's spinning at 150,000RPM?"Hay viene como mido la velocidad, gracias.

    Un saludo :)

  • Muy bueno y muy rapido :)
