@newdamned I think he worked with a band called Captain Beyond, but I'm not familiar with their material. PS Great dancing in this vid - Austin Powers eat your heart out! Some of Blackers' expressions are highly entertaining...

@currymusodave Yes Rod was in Captain Beyond. It was a supergroup, they released 2 albums with Rod.

Great playing. Even in the early days Deep Purple was a great band already (I still like them, although only Ian Paice is left from the original bunch). Great drumming here. Also nice guitar work at 2.14 ;-)

That rapid fire light touch is hard to come by, I've been trying to get the intro riff to "Spirit of the radio" up to speed but without a light touch it's tough to learn.
