well I picked up photography just this past year or so. the biggest tip I can give is get the lighting right. the best is usually at sunrise or sunset. another big tip I have is photograph anything that cathces your eye... you may be surprised by what you get. make sure your subject is in focus. finally touch up your pics just a bit. I never heavily edit photos, but I do add a little but of contrast just to add to the natural shadow depth that the camera takes away.

What camera do you use; 5D, 1D, 1Ds, Hasselblad? You like photography so you wouldn't use a Nikon (LOL). I see you like the wide angles; 1-40mmL or what.

I like the reds, do you use any filters?

I have actually been using a panosanic lumix dmc f50 almost-DSLR camera. I am getting tired of it though and plan on upgrading to a dslr soon...

I do not use any filters, and the range of the camera is 35-420mm (quite a good zoom range.)
