I consider a Fender reverb tank to be of those you described. The one on the AC15CC1 has no high end, kinda mushy to me. Then again, all have their tastes.
I'm sorry, I liked this amp but I have sold it to buy a Laney Lionheart. The vox had very nice tones, but I wanted a 2 chanels amp. But perhaps one day I will buy it again.
because 2 channels is a great feature ... on the other hand i love vox tone but i really like marshall-like tones too ... (you know , hard rock , heavy metal -aerosmith- and such)
Hi, I like more the Laney, vox is nice and vintage, but less versatile. Laney offers you blues, rock, vintage rock, hard rock and even metal, the gain control offers you a fantastic gain, very nice distortion, valve sound and great tones. And the most important is that you get this at a minimun level volume. Also sounds modern, it has it all. I'm vey bussy now, but I'd like to make a demo of the amp soon.

how loud is this amp ?
i mean could you gig with it without micing it up ?
thanks

Yes, perfectly for a small club or studio.

These things get VERY loud, dont be fooled by the small size. It could compete with most any drummer.

Good tone but the CC1's reverb is awful.
Ilovemyfender2 2 years ago
Its not awful, its a vintage reverb, special for Shadows, Ventures, and this kind of bands.
