first of all i think you should go to your vice city folder and right click properties and uncheck the "read only" thats how it works for me. hope it will for you.

common error i sujest using another moding tool called Game Garage Mods mananger If ur runing vista make sure ur RUNING the tool as ADMINISTRATOR

lol... in order for some cars to work properly you need to modify the handling, carmods, and vehicles.ide files.

That's not it for cars... If buildings or textures, than this works, cars - handling, carmods, vehicles.ide

well since i cant test and diagnose these errors anymore my best sujestion for you is to try and make sure ur replacing the propper car and that its the .TXD and .DFF if that dosent work try GGMM

AKA Gta Garage Mod Mananger for instaling and see if that works

actualy the other day, i figured you CAN use it with vista (i have vista). What you had to do was open an IMG file from the open option from the empty IMG from the data failure. Then select from you gta sa directory the IMG file you want to use. eg. you open gta3.img from your gta directory from the empty IMG and there you go! all the 16,366 files in the gta3 IMG. So realy it does work on vista.

Then ur replacing 2 files at a time or ur file is to big. I sugjest using GTA-SA Mod installer or somehing other then imgtool if ur having a problem. I dont trust thows programs thow because it dosent always work

Is it 1 file or is it multiple files if its 1 file its most likly a file that replaces in the GTA3.img file thing XD cuz pig aliens sound like pedestrian mods

LOL easy just replace the Blade.TXD and Blade.DFF with the BMW m3 mod it really dosent matter Just make sure the blade isent a Transfenders modable car or not a modable car at all because The infernus has transfenders modable parts and not arch angle modable parts So thats where most newby moders mess up XD it always helps to think things threw :P not that i ever been good at it

Theres two possible things it could be

1. You deleated a .TXD or a .DFF and are now lacking this car file

2. you forgot to rebuild arcive

If u dont remember the name of the car u moded and have already Rebuilt arcive u must reinstall GTA SA

Its the same thing for CJ but CJ is the PLAYER.img folder cars and weapons are GTA3.img
