  • Good for you, I'm glad to hear the medicine is curing your little girl.

And F*CK that dr vidmos idiot. I'd try to take legal action against her if I were you, for making your daughter go through all that.

  • Thank you for your reply, I am just writing to let you know that the propanolol was not successful for my son we have taken him off the drug now. There are side efeects that anyone considering putting their chilld on propanolol should be aware of. He now has difficulty breathing a side effect of the treatment like asthmas. Apparently the drug constricts the broncials not sure if this is going to be a permanent thing he is going to a respiratory specialist on the 11th will update again after that

  • Qué hermoza niña...Bendito sea Dios...Espero siga saludable y felíz junto con sus Papás hoy en dia...Les mando un abrazo...

  • UCLA Medical Center Building #200, second floor, Dr.Yazdani = Solution for Hemangioma propranolol

  • It's good to see she responded so well. I hope it's entirely gone by now. She looks like a delight!

  • God's Blessings are Great, Please keep telling your story. Thank you for helping so many children with this video. Sometimes propranolol can slow gastric acid secretions. Please don't let your pediatrician give zantac or other GI med because they are neuroleptics. They need apple cidar vinegar or Betaine HCL with meals for GERD. Just a suggestion.

  • When I was a kid I had one on my forehead. To prevent the exaggerated growth, the doctor told mom it had to be burnt down with Beta radiation.

It got me a big ass scar which got me problems at school when I was young and now I still have a vertical line on my forehead.

I am sincerely hoping your daughter turns into the beautiful girl she seems she will become and never has any problem because of it.

Congratz, you're a great mom for choosing that treatment :)

  • She is beautiful!! And this video gave me so much hope! My daughter is 3 months old and is starting treatments on Tuesday for a hemangioma under her right eye. Thank you for sharing!

  • Awsome!! Very happy that propranolol is working for your little girl. I've been taking it for more than a year now, and just finding all the multiple uses of it. If it wasn't for all the strange dreams, or lack of good sleep, this would be perfect rx for me.

  • This is incredible, i take propranolol for blood pressure, the wonders of drugs

I am a mother of 5 and each one has condition from narcolepsya to juvenile dibetes type 1, so it helps to know that other parents are out there that we are not alone.

  • I daughter also has a hemangioma on her lower cheek and we goto Dr. Puttgen started my daughter on propanalol. I am so glad to see your baby is healed.

  • My daugther has a hemangioma on her neck (decollete), that was there at birth. And a lump on her collar bone (that appeared two weeks ago), its very hard, and has shrunk somewhat but sticks out more, and its sore to the touch.

She is now 7 weeks old, tommorow I'm going to a dermatologist to talk about. I hope your daughter is okay

  • @halyaj85 Woooow your baby is beautiful I mean before, durning and after the surgury. I had mine since birth mine is on my right side of my face and its not a good thing to have. Ill ask my dad if he can tell the doctors about propranolol sonce it help sooo much and because I'm tired of the name calling and I had it for almost 16years. Thank you so very much on sarring this video I hope it will help me too and the doctors could help so THANK YOU :)

Our daughter is our little angel :) !

  • @jennadams3782 I am glad that propranolol work for your daughter also :) Thankfully after so many years of research they found some kind of treatment that works for most of the patients and has no side effects ! I am so happy that more and more babies/kids are getting treated ! :)

  • My daughter has a hemangioma in her right eye. Because it was inside of her eye we were not sure there was a problem until she was about 5 months old, 3 months after the swelling began. The doctor first started her on steroids and that helped reduce the hemangioma for about a month. Then because the steriods became less ineffective, the doctor started weaning her off the steriod and has on put her on propranolol. She has been on the meds only a month and there is such a difference.

  • What a beautiful little girl. Bless your family

  • Aww she's a beautiful

  • my daughter has a superficial hemangioma like your daughter, but on the side of her face. she was started on propanalol early, which prevented it from spreading as much as your daughters. she also developed a cavernous hemangioma which grew to the size of a baseball. in any case her face is almost completely flat after only a few months of treatment. we are told that without the drug would have likely extended to 6 inches now because its growth was so rapid.

  • i am 24 and am currently in hospital after having a lymph hemangioma removed from my left foot /instep... i am amazed at all these beautiful brave little children having to go thru such a painfull process... i have searched high and low for a case involving an adult with hemangiomas and cant find anything i'm begining to think i am the only one!

all the best to you and your family, my partner and i clucked over your gorgeous little girl! xo

  • I'm so happy you discovered the propnalol treatment! It's AMAZING! My daughter has a hemangioma over her left eyelid. For a very long time the the Dr. believed it was a cyst because the apperance isn't of most hemangioma's...Hers is under the skin so it looks more like a bump...She started her propranolol treatment a few months ago and her hemangioma is barely visible...She will continue to take the treatment until it is 100%...Thank You for sharing...Gloriika will make a full recovery!!

  • to she if it wont start to regrow (it can happen with small % of the kids) but we hope for the best :)

  • Thank you everyone for your good comments :) Our visit vent great ! We just came back last night . Doctor confirmed that Gloriika hemangioma is shrinking. She would like to take her of medicine sometimes in middle may , but we will have to race the dose right now from 2.1 to 2.5 (which is allot) and from may 1 we will be lowering the dose . And then Dr Puttgen will have to keep an eye on her (over the email)

  • how did it go on 3/2 on that visit? My wife and i are going though the same thing. we are going to have our daughter start this on friday! thank you for making this video you have really touch our lives!!!

  • Congratulations on your beautiful baby! Propanolol has been around as a medicine for high blood pressure for a long time, but it was discovered that works miracles for hemangiomas in France just in 2008. It's essencial to start early with propanolol, more drastic result are seen when the treatment starts before the baby is 1 y/o and the best thing is that there are almost no side effects comparing to steroids.

  • Thank you for sharing. That's fantastic that you were able to help your little girl. Our youngest had a hemangioma on her cheek that got so large that it was affecting her vision. We tried laser and steroid treatments that were ineffective as well. Eventually we had it surgically removed. I wonder if it could have been treated with Propranolol like you did with Gloriika?!

  • Congrats. We are so happy for you and your beautiful little girl. Our daughter has a nose tip hemangioma that we are treating right now at two months old with laser. Considering Pro. later on if the laser doesn't work. All the best.

  • My daughter too had/has facial hemangiomas. I have been doing a google news search and found your video through that. AMAZING results.
