Gackt had such talent back then, but, he let the fame of being in Malice Mizer go to him and he wanted too much, it's a shame, he'll never be as good solo as he was here.

Gackt's true talent shown only when he go solo. Inside MM only hindrance him. We all know that Mana only wants him to write lyrics & sing.

I would like to ask are you a Japanese? Do you know how disapproving Visual kei is in Japan? MM was popular, but not that big.

So when Gackt went solo he bear the prejudice of visual kei that why he had to work extreme hard to prove himself.

"he'll never be as good solo as he was here" That is just only your bias opinion
