After the war for independence, the Israeli government settled hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees from Arab countries. Instead of bitching and whining about being evicted from property their ancestors had lived on for hundreds of years, they built new lives in Israel. If ANY Arab country did the same for the Palestinians, there would be no problem in Gaza today.

@kreplach2 Well yes, if you look at the 19th century and 20th centuries, Jews were treated better in the western world than in Jerusalem, however, if you go back in history, (Starting in the middle ages) Jews were treated better in Muslim countries than in the western world (Inquisition?) and still, Jews are not the only people to have been persecuted , hundreds of peoples have been oppressed (and still are)
