  • A great man!

  • Best lessens online i have seen... Thanks a lot .

  • i dont have money to donate or buy anything from you but i can click all the adds on your website for 5 hours does that help?

  • sunnuvabitch

    im 16 turning 17...

but then again... im naturally good at everything i decide to do, and im a quick learner

managed to start using my pinky properly (though not perfectly) in 2 minutes :D

played a song after 30 min of practice (before i found these vids... didn't even know what CAGED was)

so i think ima do well in this

  • I'm gonna get a electric guitar soon, so i'll be needing this :D.

  • 2:40 well thats dandy, learning guitar and i just turned 15 :D, confindence restored from when you said how some people take ages to learn

  • Please everyone, be sure to make a donation to his web site. Don't take advantage of his generousity. Pay it forward!

I can't thank you enough for these videos Justin!

  • whould the electric pick up of a $400.00 fender be worth it?

  • Hi Justin! I´ve looked thorugh your vids and doesn´t find anyone tha explanes how you should place you right hand, the pick hand, i relationship to the guitar. It would be really nice if you went throgh that. because i´ve looked around on youtube without any sucsses finding it. Tnx man!

  • How come i hate my guitar style i sound like metallica and i hate them i like bands like joe satriani and led zeppelin and stuff but i sound like metallica and slayer or something and i hate it what should i do

  • @1234Sebster I have the EXACT same problem...

  • @mrsuga123 Found a solution i been taking chords and stuff from the bands i listen to and it sounds alot better i think my problem was before all i would do is play power chords and now that im getting better and using more stuff it sounds more like the bands i listen to

  • As far as how often you should practice, is a complicated question to answer. I practice for 3 hours a day (everyday possible) , atleast when I have 3 hours. Not all at once of course, usually about an hour at a time. Sometimes I practice for 6 hours a day. My hands are fine.

  • I just loaned one of my guitars to a 15-year old who wanted to learn guitar. I don't have time, or the skill, to teach her. There was no hesitation where to send her. Justin is the best teacher I've encountered on the web or anyplace else. He'll take you from this is a guitar to advanced stuff that someday I hope to learn. After almost 50 years of playing, I'm still learning from Justin.

  • is justin guitar the best site to use to learn guitar ? :)

  • @MrFaulconbridge

of course it is! he knows what he's saying, he's doing all that stuff for free, I really feel that Justin is my personal teacher ;)

  • @Lutherro yeah hes awsome, Im on stage 4 now :)

  • @MrFaulconbridge way to go, keep rockin' :)

  • Wow - I've been practicing for 1/2 - 1 hour each day since I started learning about 3 weeks ago...mainly because I just love it so much. Have some good callouses on my left hand and it doesn't hurt my fingertips anymore.

Awesome videos and lesson plan, Justin - I am learning SO much from you and having a blast!

  • im just in the right age to start

  • slash and jimi hendrix started playing when they were both 15

  • Hehe, the finger question cracked me up. When I was learning to play for the first time, I got open wounds on the damn fingers. My strings were smeared with blood every time I played for like, the first two months. Now my fingertips are much harder, with very thick skin, so its no longer a problem.

  • You must have really weak fingertips, Peter :-s

  • @nuub13 Not anymore I don't ;P. Practice makes perfect.

  • really cool lessons

Ive been learning with justin since 3 years ago

Im not a pro but I am proud of what Ive achieved

Whoever starting out just dont stop an dont give up!!!

  • Great start Justin! Really cleared many of the doubts I had about your previous beginner's course. I'll be going over your (new) begginer's course again. :)

  • younger people learn easier because they do. It's something inside the mind of all humans. It's just the way the human mind works and grows. Same reason why languages stick easier while younger.

  • I think all your stage one videos were clear and helpful, wish I had had them when I first started but I am sure they will greatly help lots of people. Well done Justin.

  • do beginners talk like that? :)

  • To go back and recreate the beginners course is testimony to Justins dedication & perfectionism.

    Full credit to him.

  • i think justin started playing at 6 years old :)

  • "young kids just totally lick it"

    lol..

I'm one of those kids, I'm not a natural though :P

  • im 14 and started in november (last year)

alsos, great vids (all of them) they help me alot =D

  • ACDC hat!

  • When did you start to play? I started at 18 now I'm 21 :-)

  • well done as allways ... even if i didn't learn anything new today...playing for about 7 yrs now ;)

5* for your never ending work telling the world how to play :D
