Wow, this guy does not know what he is talking about. Cottage cheese is alkaline, cow milk is acidic. Alkaline is safe, acidic is not. I also am watching someone completely go from dying from late-stage non-Hodgkin's lymphoma to taking walks, going out for breakfast with wife, and his skin has gone from gray-white to pink. Actually if you mix flax seed oil with cottage cheese the cottage cheese loses its dairy properties. Someone I know is lactose intolerant and they eat this stuff all the time and get zero typical lactose responses.

Please don't discount this protocol entirely just because of one opinion. If you have cancer, thoroughly research the Budwig Protocol in it's entirety and you will learn that once the oil is combined WITH the cottage cheese, the "dairy" qualities are changed and the lactose (normally not tolerated by those with milk allergies) becomes a healing agent to the body. When I ordered my flax oil, the company spoke highly of this protocol & suggested I purchase the Budwig CD from Amazon (which I did).

I can attest to previous comments on B. Clements misinformation. Others have noted here that Budwig never stated in her books that she did not know if the diet works. He has the time period of Budwig's research dates very wrong and concedes that she is right about flax oil, which is the crux of her diet. It is rather hard to conceive that somehow dairy products surpass saturated fats from fried foods, chemically processed foods, chemical exposure and too much sun as a leading cause of cancer.

Bill Henderson, author of "Cancer-Free", uses Budwig as part of his basic 6-step protocol, and has many testimonies of recovered patients. I have Chronic Neutropenia and have been on the diet for three weeks now. I have increased my white blood cells almost double since being on the diet! Now, I am using the diet for my two cancer dogs. One was all bones when he got on it and he has gained 10 pounds of his normal weight back. The other has gained pure muscle. We have a practitioner friend that introduced us to the Budwig diet, and he introduced it to many people, I don't have a head count. All I know is that my boyfriend has been doing it on and off for the last 4 months and he had lost weight, has tons of energy and feels better than he ever has!!!!!
