  • Ce n'est pas en Guadeloupe mais sur l'ile de Saint-Vincent. Il y a cependant bien un volcan en Guadeloupe qui s'appelle aussi la Souffrière.

    J'étais aux Antilles à ce moment. Il y e eu des retombées de cendres jusqu'en Martinique ou j'étais. En fait c'est le volcan de Montserrat (et non Saint Vincent, encore moins la Guadeloupe). Plus d'info ici "ipgp.fr/pages/040704.php

  • its not sticky lava what collapses its the pyroclastic flow which is the hot ash and dust which is round about 1000 degreeas and if u get hit by it you die from the toxic ash getting into your heart not the heat.

  • @krabhole That's not fake. It's what's called a pyroclastic flow, which is basically a hot cloud of volcanic ash that has either collapsed and flows down the mountain slopes, or a sticky lava dome that collapses and disintegrates into a hot cloud that flows down the mountain slopes. For other examples, see Mt. Pinatubo, Mt. Unzen, and Mt. St. Helens.
