So glad to see this song back on u-tube.Please don't let them take it off. Having played in a rock band most of the 60's this is great rock and roll music that is timeless. At 63 i still love the music. REMEMBER ROCK AND ROLL FOREVER, LONG LIVE THE SILENCERS 5 AND THE LOST GENERATION, THE PEOPLE OF BAIRD TEXAS STILL LOVE AND MISS US AND ALWAYS WILL. MS FOX I KNOW YOU ARE NOT WITH US ANYMORE MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU. THANKS TO ALL. BOB S.
Bruce Channel was a great performer and unfortunately, he did not have the good luck that he deserved. This song could be a millionaire hit but it was not. Too many songs never deserved to be hits, but they were hits. Today, you see an industry that has been hijacked by lack of criteria and culture. But well, well this is business. Channel voice got charm and personality to get good recordings and be successful
@juanunderground Well, It was a millionaire hit in my book! LOL --- Believe me, BC did a lot of great recordings but the fact that Delbert McClinton played harp on "Hey, Baby" did it for me!! His other big hit "Goin' Back To Louisiana", also covered by Delbert, was a major influence on the Beach Music Scene!! Glad you enjoyed it!! :-))
Thank you for uploading this!
