In fact if that were true, the species would be near extinction. It's almost like you made that number up. They don't actively kill domestic animals, though there have been 'some' cases of reported deaths of domestic animals by Raccoons. Most Domestic animal deaths are caused by other Domestic animals or wild animals like Foxes and Coyotes.

It was outside in daylight?

The raccoons near our house are very chubby, and like 2 weeks ago kept getting into the cat food outside.

But this is what I've always wanted, a friendly raccoon to feed and play with in daylight. Not in the dark, they're scary in the dark :P.

my cousin pittbull killed a raccon once and my brother told me the dog would carry it around like it was its toy or something but one day the raccoon disappear guess the dog ate it. The backyard is like 1 acre
