Is it possible for you to upload the backing track? Yours has all the sections I'm looking for. If you can't I understand, but if you could that would be a great help.
This is really cool but i have one constructive criticism. You should improve, actually change your picking technique. And i don't refer to the gypsy-jazz technique; which is difficult to adopt but of course the best for jazz manouche. I mean you hold the pick rather powerless. I feel uncomfortable saying this stuff, who am i? And of course there is this thesis that everyone should play as they are comfortable but who is comfortable when you try to learn a new technique? Learn it from themasters
Great job! great song. One of the beautiful things about living here in Brooklyn, is that I get to see stephane wrembel every week 5 blocks away from my house.
Great job...since you are so good you should consider learning how to rest stroke pick and play all down strokes an every string change...that's how they get the authentic gypsy sound...I myself am just begining to get it.
do you think you could upload the backing track to youtube or to another website and share the link so that I could also try to solo over it? Thanks !! :D Great playing again . . .
@miroslavsafin I made it myself. I'm not much of a bass player, but I did what I could. A few of Mr. Wrembel's versions seemed to have slightly different chords in the rhythm part, so I went with a combination of sorts. His performance on the Kojo Nnamdi show is so great, he improvises freely at times, much more so than I can. It's a lot of fun to play that's for sure.
thanks for the free lesson :)
