The common name for Cupiennius salei is Wandering Spider, but this is different from the notorious Brazillian Wandering spider. The latter is from the Phoneutria genus and this one is from the Cupiennius genus. Although both a wandering spiders and both found in South America, this one has far less potent venom than its famous cousin. Although the bite would still hurt quite a bit and these a re lightening fast as you can tell!!
No, that isn´t a tarantula, it´s a Brazilian Hungting Spider. They can become very large as well, however their physique is more slender than those of tarantulas.
