my mach 1 has walked on the new SS and the new 5.0 so i doubt your stocker will touch my mustang or my previous one for that matter. and Steven my driveshaft broke in half when i shifted to 3rd and i pinged into the side of a I-35 in TX December 2009. totaled it and then bought the Mach 1.

launch close to 3000rpm. get some stickier tires, and dont just slam your foot to the floor, feather the throttle until the tires hook up real nice. its hard to explain in words. they have videos on here that teach you how to launch and stuff. and its better than text.

yeah it takes a lot of practice to get it perfect. youll get it eventually. its kinda hard to find that point where the car doesnt bog down, and there isnt too much wheel spin. you said you have an 05 GT?

Best thing I ever did to my '03 was add Eibach Sportline springs. Whole new car, oh yeah, the bbk tuned-length headers and o/r x pipe don't hurt either. Nice ride man!!

an s2000 engine only has 162lb ft of torque to the mustangs 302 stock for stock a gt will beat an s2000 u talk about dependable horsepower, the 4.6 in that mustang can last 400000 miles easily thats why cops use them in crown victorias

honda by far is superior to ford engineering wise. if they wanted tobuild a V8 they would and it would def smoke GT. i like the mach1 its not to bad. mustangs do have a nice exhaust tone to them,. i used toown a 5.0 GT with b303 cams and borls mufflers with a straight pipe with a 8.8 10 bolt 3:73 gears. but when i have t0o constantly put fuel in it an d fix it so it can run thats when i draw the line. id rather have more dependable power
