oooh man you gotta be careful using sprocket and chain. If they were actually like bike chians it's ok, but those things snap like yeah. Hit a wall hard or get rammed by somebody else and you're screwed. Happened last year at Atlanta where somebody hit another robot in autonomous. 3 out of their 4 chains snapped.

hmm we used a sprocket and chain and yeah they kept breaking like almost every match because the chain is so fragile and small. It should only be used if you need to make something but have like almost no space whatsoever. That is the only time when sprockets can be used. I went to atlanta my freshmen year but it didnt have the chain and sprocket, that was last year.
