has anyone listened to bbc's radio play called 'the wild ass's skin' ? elliot played the main character rupert..it's based on a classic novel..about an unemployed investment banker who was given this magic skin....sad part is rupert dies at the end of it...i thoroughly enjoyed listening to the play..every time i hear elliot's voice, it reminds me of mr darcy!

It's ridiculous how much I enjoyed this series. I held off on watching it since I felt the only girl for Darcy is Lizzie...but it was GREAT!!!! Amanda is us...all the 21st century girls; which come on...Darcy loved Lizzie because she was a modern woman ;-) I like to think that this is sort of an alnerate universe. Somewhere out there Darcy and Lizzie are happy and in another Darcy and Amanda are :-)

I think I've watched all the Lost in Austen videos here on YouTube and this is my favorite. I think the pairing up of "you're the home my heart searched for so long" with their hands clasping is just a great way to show the connection. Keep up the great work!

So, I live in Canada and on the womans network they were having a Jane Austin Weekend. So I watched all the movies, but was a little disappointed that they weren't going to end with Pride and Prejudice (that being the most famous and popular). Instead they were playing this. So I watched it out of sheer curiosity and was completely blown away. It was SO much fun! And I don't care what anybody says, this guy was definately my favorite Mr Darcy.

Elliot is my favorite Darcy, too. I've never heard of him before "Lost in Austen". When I first watched the mini series, I did not like him as Darcy. But he blew me away at Episode 3 and the rest is history!

Theyre going to make a big screen version by Sam Mendes so it's going be out out in a few years. Small warnig though of the american release of LIA they are alot of deleted scenes so any one thinking of buying I would rent , just to let you know.

I feel that Elliot Cowen fits perfectly playing Darcy in LIA, but won't be that suitable in the real P&P version...same thing with Colin Firth...he suits P&P but would be a bit ackward in LIA..just a thought...love them both though!
