  • The climb up was more interesting than the crappy line down.

  • I have a lot of appreciation for a strong technical descent like this.

  • Really great technical ski descent. I don't like american "freeride" movies because all they show is fat skis in deep perfect snow and jumping. I have skied in Alaska where they film all the popular movies and in my opinion it is not s style of skiing that takes much skill. It really doesn't take much technical ability to put on fat skies and lean back and go kinda straight in perfect snow. The reason so many movies are made there is that most skiers will look impressive in those conditions.

  • ok there is no fuckign way this guy has skied the 7 highest mountains in all continents like the video description says bec asue some of these mountains have rock and not ice/snow face. i may have misread this though b/c my english isnt that good

  • my granny could ski better

  • please tell Us more about Everest descent............I cant find about it

  • the music ruined this. there should be complete silence, to symbolize how lonely and completely terrifying it can be to be on a mountain like that

  • this guys is a straight beast. manly descent. props

  • Just looks like a crappy line.

  • Well I'm sure I could have gotten down much faster.

But probably not alive at least for long.

  • Name of the guitar song from 2:07 ?

  • WTF is this BULLSHIT!!

  • i love it wen u finaly reach a flat bit of the mountain it give your legs a rest and feels great :D o_O

  • Truly amazing control and POWER. Anyone who downplays this man's skill is clearly ignorant and should never comment on something they are looking to merely belittle. I mean shit, if it's so easy, why don't you do it?? I don't ski a lot, but I have before and I know how much control and dexterity it takes just to weave back and forth, but he is teetering on gravity's edge and never loses control - incredible. Mad props to Karnicar, as he is the greatest ever to hit the slopes. Thanks for posting!

  • For the genius fearles skiing lot here. This guy's name happens to be Davo Karničar. He used to race in the world cup. He skied most ow big European problems including Eiger. He was the first man to ski down Everest (2000), he skied several ice-falls and winter climbing routes / coluirs that classify as atrocious in my book. He is a living legend of extreme skiing. Anyone who has skied in Julian alps will NEVER compare these conditions to the packed powder in the americas.

  • i bet he's not a bad skier, but through the fear he leans back in tough situations.

  • respect for this guy +1

  • took him longer to ski down than to climb up... he made it but im not rly impressed...

  • wow!

    carpe diem

    canadian rockies!!

  • ok tole je blo pa full brezveze...peš grem hitrej dol

  • Truly amazing.

  • fucking retarded

  • i wasted minutes of my amazingly orgasmic life to watch this piece of shit. if i wanted to watch a doo doo stain go down mount everest i would watch the food channel cause all the shit they make makes me shit so hard i shit my internal organs.

  • @gunnermac70 lets put you on a 65 degree and see how you do

  • The people who criticize this guy's skiing are trying to compare him with "big mountain freeriders". If a big mountain contest had conditions like this, they would cancel the event. If you had any idea who this guy is or what he's done, you would deffinitely have more respect for his accomplishments. Sure, call it boring to watch or pointless, but most of the terrain park raised freeriders have never skied the kind of mountains he's skied.

  • @bpressnall I have stopped replying even, because all who criticize don't have a smallest clue of how this looks like. The don't get it that it's 65 deg. inclinaton and that a wrong move means certain death. People talking shit watch too much ski porn to be able to differentiate between ski descents like the one on this video or those who they see taken on ALaska with helicopters, rescue crews ready etc., and - that is not as steep, much "softer" snow, open lines etc.

  • @anzecokl LOOK KIDDIES, AS A FORMER SERVICEMAN, CANADIAN AIRBORNE, THESE LADS DO HAVE BALLS, BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER SERVED WHILE WEARING THEIR NATIONAL UNIFORM, TRULY PUTTING THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE WHERE YOU MAY JUST BE KILLED, AND FROM A DISTANCE AWAY.

THIS IS INTERESTING TO WATCH, BUT SIGNING A CONTRACT WHERE THERE IS A CHANCE ONE MAY LOOSE ONES LIFE, AS OPPOSED TO THIS EXTREME SKIING IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORLD!

ADMIRE THE ONES WHOM HAVE DIED IN BATTLE, UNLIKE THESE THRILL SEEKERS.

  • @silicon605

I am sorry, but getting your as fried on the battle field is exactly the same as getting it fried any place else. The only different thing being, that you are doing it for money under a contract. I do not need a contract to climb and ski nor do I need one to defend my country (should it need defending). And calling Davo a thrill seeker, when he's almost 50 is quite inadequate. If that was all he really was, he'd be dead 30 years ago.

  • @silicon605 And as a former Flight Lieutenant for the R.A.F, turned Civil Aviation First Officer, I find your comment quite "Up yourself". I enjoy extreme skiing very much and it is what I can be found doing apart from flying Boeing 757's. I have NEVER injured myself whilst skiing and the RAF taught us how to ski, just in the possibility that we were to crash into a snowy environment.

Without signing up for the RAFI wouldn't have been able to start skiing, and it is great fun to take part in.

  • @anzecokl Well I think the thing is, riding such slopes is just about facing the risk of death...this beside its not particularily technical. Its the same as if you compare high altitude mountaineering to rock climbing or climbing icefalls or so... its incredibly dangerous but i can understand why people dont find it that spectacular

  • @bpressnall

Oh well, I would never in my life do this. Incline always looks so childish on videos but I know this is steep(!). Certain death or lots and lots of broken bones if any mistake. Don't get me wrong, but it isn't really skiing you must admit? It's a descent without error-margin. It takes super sharp skis and super leg muscles + some nice planning and you being observant of where you are. Given the progress speed, not so much of what I and most others would consider "ski skills".

  • Comment removed

  • @peterpunch1 ...youre exactly right! this isnt skiing, its nascar! and youre an idiot!

  • @bpressnall

..and i know he can Ski. But skiing is about having fun and a super slowmotion descent between rocks in an 88 degree angle to the line will never be as fun, or in some cases as difficult, as dashing through powder and jumping powderbanks with some good music in your ears :-)

  • @bpressnall I agree completely I bet half the commenters haven't even skied before.

  • @bpressnall A "big mountain freerider" would not go down this mountain. It's dangerous, it involves no jumping, it's slow & looks booring. You can't call it skiing if you never point your skitips downwards at any time and spend most of the time at a stand still. The guy is good.. at "successfully climbing down a mountainside with skiis on his feet".

  • Bad snow, bad line, bad skiing, bad sound track, bad teeth....

Skiing down a concrete car park ramp is extreme... but no point doing that either, cos it's tedious just like this.

If the guy can ski, which by he allegedly can, why doesn't he do it, rather than hacking (sorry, side-slipping) down this chuff. There's no merit in it just for the sake of it.

  • ô.O WTF is that? skiing is different. what he did everybody can do....even better wothout skies

  • that would be a pretty fun run if there weren't any rocks

  • gunnermac70 i couldnt agree more!! amateur!! cnt even link a turn!! sorry!! y wud u wonna ski that shit line anyway???

  • gunnermac70 i couldnt agree more!! amateur!! cnt even link a turn!! sorry

  • I think it should be renamed "Extreme and Fearsome Sideslipping in Europe"...

  • English is second. My apologies. I did some research and found several sites supporting that Mandarin is the most spoken. But Spanish is certainly not the 2nd. Only 500 million people actually speak spanish, 1 billion speak english, and 1 billion 151 million speak mandarin. My apologies for not researching my claims before making a statement.

  • @gunnermac70 Yea where was the backflip, man?

  • Yeah, thanks dman3334. Blah, blah, blah...Cut to the chase 4:15

  • starts at 4:15

  • dude, you picked a shitty line, and a shitty spot to ski

  • Doesn't even look fun!

  • I tend to agree with the more critical voices. This descent misses the point of skiing entirely, Yes it is steep, yes extremely difficult and yes also risky but looking at the guy, where is the fun, where the elegance of the endeavor? Weesling down a slope with your pants full one stroke at the time defies the purpose of bringing your skis. He should have walked down with crampoons and ice axe.

  • The fact remains, this dude just ain't very smart, nor is he a very good skiier... Snow-plowing down Mt. Everest, it's kinda like cheating isn't it?

I'm sorry, but it's almost laughable when he falls, like a Laurel & Hardy flick!

At least he's got balls, I'd rather fuck an ape than snow-plow down that shit anyday.

  • @xlr8up lol smart ass.. We have rights to speak slovene on youtube, don't we?

U wanna make all world speak english on youtube???

  • @VRTO92

Your comments against me have been reported to YouTube for homophobia, hate-speech and for using prohibited language against a protected group, which is a violation of YouTube Guidelines.

Enjoy getting BANNED on YouTube, unless you come to my channel and formally apologize, only then will I drop the charges I have reported against you.

Enjoy the day while it lasts, you stupid fucking retard!!!

  • @xlr8up I think I will report you for using retard in a slanderous way for I am mentally handicapped hurrr ... cry less please you big baby. It's called life, not everyone has to agree with who you are or what you do.

  • Must be really hot up there. cause people are barely naked.

  • Scary stuff! Not for me but I was totally transfixed!

  • watch the verbier extreme, sometimes, actually alot of the times the snow is incredibly icy and much like this snow. it is also 60 degrees for half of the way, and you see many people ski it far better than this.

  • YAWN!!!

  • On the first stage he needed an ice axe between his teeth and crampons on his helmet...wow that was hairy!

  • You have to admire the courage of the guy climbing up such a challenging hill, l certainly couldn't / wouldn't be able to do the same. However, the "extremely difficult & fearsome ski descent" part comes moreso from the fact that this dude is WAY OUT OF HIS DEPTH on the truly steep stuff between the rocks. Once he is below the rocks he has quite good GS style.

  • 8:14 looks like amazing conditions.

  • Although this video seems to be sort of lame, unless you were on the slope and could experience the exposure and snow conditions, it's really hard tell how difficult it is. Most of those Steep type ski movies are filmed with perfect powder conditions. This is obviously much firmer snow then you'll see in the cliff huck-straightline videos.

  • otimo complimenti

  • Id bomb straight down that ish! hella easy hah j/k...skis don't work well on ice faces, good job though

  • Comment removed

  • at 6:27 his body angle proves how steep it actually is. he should be rippin GS turns in there. however maybe what i said before was extreme: freestyle skiers wouldnt be flipping, but theyd be actually skiing.

  • @bjortom The snow conditions in this video are wery diferent to the ones in Alaska, but you wouldent know anithing about that aniway.

  • he's not really skiing... it's pathetic actually, if this was a freestyle video they'd be playin funk and pulling flips off that shit. and i understand it's steep but there are way more than 10 people in the world who can do that i promise you. check out the movie Steep thatll broaden your perspective.

  • There's something odd about this video. The man shown climbing up seems to be wearing different clothes from the man skiing down. Did he really change his clothes at the top of that steep slope? Even the skis look to be a different colour. AndEven the climbing helmet changes from white to black.

  • @johnjrp01 Agree with you. But i think he changed the jacket from orange one to red one. The thing for sure is that i can see his footspteps in 4.25-4.27 that really makes me belive him that he climbed that mountain . Anyway nice video huh

  • Davo is just one of the best extreme skier in the world. I think people don't realize how steep is that slope. Sick descent!

  • Its totally mad and skillful but the skiing is not so much skiing as sliding if you know what i mean.

  • Comment removed

  • its probably too much hard snow and the angle of the slope is ridiculous with that snow, and you can tell he's anticipating every move..

he's obviously focusing more on survival than technique

  • Whatever it is that hill they start on is almost vert

  • Dajmo Slovenija! ;)

  • This hill is like 60 degrees, ice climbing is classified as 60 degrees. Also if he falls he dies, how can you say this is not good skiing? There is probably 10 people in the world that can do this and only 5 of them would cause its so risky. mad skiing.

  • everyone is saying how steep it is, but its 60 degrees. i know thats steep, but terje haakonsen came down a mounain that was 60 degrees, and he was on a snowboard. he was also hauling ass

  • Comment removed

  • I honestly didn't like his style... The jump skiing failed and he basically crawled down the whole thing... And you cant "be half swiss and half American" lmfao..... Americans are not 1 culture...unlike other countrys like Germany or France....

  • i like it though terrain

  • So Davo Karnicar is not a pro, right? Stop watching people straightlining in alaska, too much Teton Gravity...

  • I would consider that fella crawling down on ski to be a very eminent skier. He really show he has the full control about what he is doing. It was enjoyable to watch.

  • This actually kind of blows. i was exited when I saw the slope but he is basically crawling down it with skis on. He doesn't seem at all like an expert skier as you would think. Props for doing it though, that shit looks pretty hard.

  • chriss44 shut up!!!! hes slovenian!!! like me why sould he speak english?

  • @VRTO92

Because English is the #1 universally-spoken language on Earth, you pious dipshit.

Give me a few good reasons why he shouldn't be speaking English and I'll shut the fuck up on your behalf.

Otherwise, you obey me, got it?

  • @xlr8up - actually, i believe mandarin is the #1 universally spoken lanquage. then spanish and then english.

  • @EvelcyclopS 1. Who ever the retard was who said to speak english, is a retard. I wont argue with that.

But I will argue with you because you are an idiot. English is the most spoken language universally. You realize that most people who go to school around the world speak English pretty damn well if not partially because they have to learn it in school? Yes that includes the Chinese. No one has to learn Spanish so god knows where you came up with that horse shit.

  • @anewkindofangel - Do you think that most people around the world go to school? and even then get taught english? Im afriad you are misinformed. Try to think about small towns in obscure poor countries - why would they need to learn english?

2 Billion people live in china, at least 1.1bn of those speak mandarin. With a large amount of south american and south asian countries with high populations of hispanic origin, there are a huge amount (up to 0.5Bn) of spanish speaking people.

  • @anewkindofangel English actually isn't the most spoken language in the world. 1: Mandarin, 2: Spanish, 3: English. However, English is generally considered the easiest to learn and is the most spoken language in rich western countries, who dominate most of the market and are therefore able to impose their own language on virtually every major company.

So yes, it's the most commonly used language in business and on the internet, but it's not the most spoken language in the world.

  • @jursle

English is the number one SECOND spoken language in the world. Although it's true that Americans (and the British) have imposed their language on other cultures, English is also considered to be the most descriptive language, having far more vocabulary words than many other languages, which is extremely important in the scientific fields of study where precision of not just figures but description is critical.

  • anyone hating on this knows dick all about ski touring...sure it wasnt aesthetically pleasing but look at that shit, standing at 55 deg is hard enough, never mind a controlled ski...if he had done it another way id give a 95% chance that a brutal fall would be involved. you couldnt do this if u practised for years, his technique is pro and hes still alive and well so all the haters should kiss his ass, you're probably fat slobs who couldn't climb to the cookie jar

  • ok i gotta give him props 4 doin it but he is goin rlly slow and using beginner techniques

  • that's not really a "descent" he kept on stopping at beginning?

  • i would like to see your video of you skiing lines like this without falling and killing yourself. He's not doing this for speed. He may not be a pro, but atleast he's out there participating in a sport that we obviously both love.

  • Just to apologize that I was signed in on my computer and someone else posted that comment while I was still signed in. I would never have said anything like that myself. Sorry. I don't even ski!

  • actually europeans are known as being some of the best skiers in the word I would know I'm half swiss and half american so shut the fuuck up

  • and we can all guess youre an american dumb ass

  • you guys are fags buy a snowboard

  • Mountain is still there, so go there, climb up, shit your pants and then comment this.

Davo Karnicar is probably one of the best extreme mountain skier...ever.

I've skied 45 degrees in relatively safe zone where fall wouldnt kill me and I tell you even 45deg is quite hard...slope that Davo skied on this video is unimaginable harder!!!

  • what a big run! special!!!!!

  • The best part - the one that REALLY knocks me out - is 7:50 to 7:55...

  • Try imagining 'Extreme skiing' on this slope as imagine attempting to rip it when you think possible, get 15 ft on a 55 degree slope when the terrain switches from near hard pack to icy, making a slow down effort near impossible and you go over an exposed rock face in a very precarious way. I'm rambling, no one should have to imagine this fantasy right?

  • First of all tanner hall would never set foot on anything like this. I understand that to ppl who dont know what they are talking about, this looks more easy than it is. So if forgive your ignorance.

Impressive 5:10 - 6:00. But why did you edit out the most difficult section at 5:53? I would have wanted to see how he handeled that. Also check my not nearly as gnarly video of steep powder in france.

  • only other person i could think of that might ski this would be sage cabretta alosa, he skiied some pretty sick lines in haines ak in tgrs movie this year, looked about as steep as this. T hall actually did some skiing in that movie too... first time hed skied big mountain

  • @mydalies: you have no idea what you're talking about. Oh my... Also: nice charming way of yours - reflects your ignorance

  • no offence, but tanner hall has never ever skied such stuff before. he'd shit his pants, believe me. It's a completely different type of skiing. deep powder bowls, fast turns, jumps etc. have nothing to do with survival on this steep, ice hard 60 degree slope with deadly exposure.

  • Tanner skis faces all the time man...he's a fantastically well rounded skier. I guess you were unaware of this?

  • @anzecokl How would you know? I agree that this is very dangerous. It requires great mountaineering skills & knowledge of the mountain. But the skiing itself is not what requires the most skill - it is basically side-sliding and traversing the really dangerous parts. I'm sure if you (or whomever is in the vid) were Tanner's guide and got him there he could certainly ski it. The same would be true of anybody with some skiing skills and a good guide.

  • put tanner hall on that mountain...then you'll have a video

  • Come, climb, ski...

    Than comment...

  • Read, grammar, book...

    *THEN comment.

  • U gotta have a set of brass balls to do this, it is easy to underestimate the danger just watching this from a cosy chair.

But the skiing (or is it 'sliding'?) totally sucks.

  • Who the fuck is this amature, people should know their limits, why make your self look like a begginerat something then post it to the rest of the world. In a word ,idiot,.

  • Thats not a 60 degree slope. also, he isn't skiing. I'm not saying I could do this, but some people cold manage to do it with their ski tips pointing down the hill for at least half the time...

  • Davo shall first learn to ski, this is not skiing, this is only sliding. Freeaproved team shall stop faking videos and showing faked 60o. I have been climbing there and it is never more than 40-45o

  • what does freeaproved mean? lolz

  • When did i say he 'can't ski'?, interesting fabrication on your part there.

well i didn't see the everest ski so ill give him props for that and hes obviously a competent skier.

i was tryin to make clear that the way in which he skiied this slope was weak and to get major respect you've gotta be more daring, ie slalom.

also, your next response could do with less sarcasm, lowest form of wit n all that. Prat

  • don't get me wrong, this was insane (especially the climb) but lets be honest, anyone could have managed that skiing, hes basically just sliding across and back like a rite pussy, i was expecting a smooth slalom technique even on a 60 degree gradient. pussyole rasscklat

  • Kudos to the skier, but really, that music does suck, big time.

  • He was not skying really fast, but that's because of the snow. I would NOT have the guts to go there and try that. I have fear of heights.

  • yeah when you see videos of people skiing really fast in the backcountry it's usually because it's not too steep and there is soft deep snow and little chance of hitting anything,

This guy is on an incredibly steep face of hard icy snowpack surrounded by rocks so give him a break for going carefully.

  • Wow. Awesome. I definitely would have rapped it.

  • well done mate. excellent job. I have done similar feats when i went for a 2 month skiing vacation in Pirin mountain, in Bulgaria. we climbed Vihren summit at 2918 metres with full kit and skis which took as 8 hours to scale it from Bunderitsa lodge. and then the skiing down to Bansko was just amazing, nearly 5 hours skiing all the way to the town. which mountain is this? Tatras?

  • LOL to all of the guys that said this sucks... First of all, I would like to see you take your own skis and climb a face (not use a ski lift) and then ski a slope that is 60 degrees... This guy is the man!

  • "nab skier i skied seens i whas 3 and is sertenly much better than him " Well dude, if you are upthere shitting your pants prob you won't even move, ofc he doesn't just ski down that would be like smashing your face vs the ground but then from 2000+ meter up, and then hoping you don't break your face while smashing into a rock halfway down!

This dude is pro, and he's got some guts to do this! When your upthere it doesn't look like 60degrees but like 90!

    Bolle

  • Looks like a "no fall zone" to me you sad bunch of lazy assed video vaginas. Go slow, stick all your turns or you're a dead MFer. He's the dude sticking his neck out there....I don't seem to see your skinny punk ass out there making your butt hole pucker up to some 60+ degree hardpack vert. The most exposure you twats get is when you stand naked in front of the freezer while diggin out another twinky to stuff in your pie-hole. This dude is stickin his dick out there you snot nosed fuque-ups

  • you fall - you die.

you guys watch much ski porn, then you think everything is easy.

The fact is if you go more than 50 deg it is almost impossible.

  • wtf:S....what was the point in skiing down that mountain:|...he was going sooooooo slow!:|...he might aswell of walked. I just wasted 9:46 of my life and whatever it took to write this comment. 1 star ;)

  • nab skier i skied seens i whas 3 and is sertenly much better than him

  • what do you mean? in speaking or writing or what?

  • YEEEE HAAAAAAA

  • hmm. . . I have got to say that it was one hell of a sketchy descent. Steep skiing with a relatively hard snow pack is mostly (in my opinion) about preservation of ones life.

It is freaky enough with a couple of hundred vertical feet below , but a few thousand at 60 plus degrees(multiple cliff bands included) is hard to comprehend for most.

  • nobody in the comment bar would ski that . nuff said

  • i think there are about 6 or 7 people in the world that can ski that, lol

  • if you think this guy is unskilled, then you have obviously no idea what you are talking bout. Davor Karnicar is one of the best ski mountaineers in the world. He descended mount everest with ski from the very top, Even guys like Hans Kammerlander never managed to do that.

  • This guy is obviously one of the world's best ski mountaineers. What he just did in this video is unbelievable & bears no resemblance whatsoever to a dorky ski movie where a guy in big pants straight-lines a clear powder slope after a crew checks it out, maybe does some avy control, then a helicopter lifts him up. That's just a glorified ski resort. Anyone can buy a ticket for Valdez, not for this stuff.

  • this was like a bad spoof

  • fuck that he's ballsy for going up there but he's not skiing

  • yall got a crack in ya lense

  • While this slope is steep and is challenging. Sideslipping demonstrates absolutely zero mastery and this can not be counted as an official decent you must actually link turns for it to count. This video does demonstrate how a rookie would approach a slope that is beyond their ability level. Well he finally gets going at the very end on the possibly blue/black run out so credit for that. The title and deception are way over done the music does not mach the skiing. ONE STAR

  • Count or not count? hahaha in my opinion, if you're on skis you are skiing.

  • i agree man!!!

this was not a decent. it sucked.

  • That hill was extreme, his skiing it was just gay. If you can't make it look good, then you shouldn't be doing it, especially if you're putting your life on the line. Side slipping is never awesome, no matter how steep or dangerous the line is.

  • This music doesn't fit this guys pussyfoot joke of a ski decent. Just aim your skis down and go where the mountain takes you.

  • Yeah, over a cliff and into a rock. You really have no understanding of how steep that slope is and how much exposure there is. To be fair, the video doesn't do justice. The reason this guy was the first to ski down everest is because he takes every single turn with utmost care. This is a mountaineering mentality as apposed to an extreme skiing one, its about trying to minimize risk. In the truly big mountains, you cannot afford to ski extreme, this is survival skiing, not steep powder skiing.

  • I know it extremely dangerous, and the snow looks sketchy, but he could have let it rip at least a little bit.

  • Also, there was no rescue team around, so take that in mind.

  • If I'm correct, this is Davo Krničar. He is practically home in this mountains and knows him better than anyone in Slovenia, he skied all 7 highest mountains of continents and many more, so he is not a rookie, believe me(google it).

At the end, he said that this route was skiable in 1989 and last year. He says the snow was very hard and with ice on the top and that it was dangerous to peel of the rock and avalanche. He measured the steepness and it was between 50° and 55°.

  • I would be cautious if I skied it too (which I can't), but cmon, that guy could ski a little faster.

  • DAMN!! it's a shame this guy climbed all this way just to side slip his way down. Pathetic.. the snow looked great to link good turns in the open spots.. let it RIP dude. LOL>.

  • I hate tele-markers, awesome skiing terrain, bad version of skiing. I am just a pure alpine skier.

  • Dude, have you tried telemarking? It feels incredible. I board now, but I skiid alpine as well for years. Tried telemark last season for the first time, totally loved it.

  • I tried it once, and it was not the best experience for me. I tried board also but that I'm not good at boarding either, so I have only stuck with alpine.

  • your a prue fucking idiot man

  • I agree, this guy is not skiing at all. Sliding is more like it. I mean half of the time he has an open face without much trouble, come on man grow a pair and ski.

  • he's probably not the best skier ive seen

  • ohh hes fuckin slow... 1 out of 5m waste of time

  • Nice line, keeping it real in the cotton shirts.

  • a slovenia.he skied of everest

  • Even my grandma goes faster :S, this guy shouldnt ski the slope he is not experienced enough.

  • This is excellent example of touring skiing. These guys face the dangers of avalanches, varying snow conditions, more than 70% inclination, and they are extremely careful going down, skiing fast only when its safe to do so. Any mistakes could mean life. This skiing is only for daring, experienced and fit athletes, who can climb thousands of feet and than make it down all in one piece.

  • 9min a 46 seconds of my life wasted! Watch Absinthe - More instead and you will see much better/faster decents!

  • You obviously can't differentiate between freeride and extreme skiing. Sorry for wasting 10 minutes on my video though :)

  • You don't have AT ALL the sufficient level to ski that!

In fact your're not even skiing, the only thing you manage to do is slipping.

  • this guys are telemarkers, they will see more virgin snow than any one else! (Unless you got $10million and a helicopter)

  • Dahrrr... Telewhat? Go back to wathching porn.

  • you go ahead and ski that remote Slovenian mountain, with no french rescue helis hovering around, then come back and talk!

  • Okay thanks, I wasn't sure if it was for sale or not, but the trailer put out for his seven summits movie said coming soon, so you never know.

  • Have you ever seen a "telemarker"?

Obviously not, so avoid putting such stupid comment!
