What resort did you stay at?

@supfirer We stayed in the Port Orleans Riverside. Disney has very few options for families of 5 or more. None of the value resorts will work, unless you get a suite. Riverside is the only Moderate resort that accomodates 5, with their little "trundle" bed. It is basically 2/3 scale mattress on wheels that pulls out from under one of the beds. My 9 year old would definitely NOT fit on it. So Riverside is the lowest cost option. Other than that, Disney was a total blast. Can't wait to go again.

@ibzsupernova It's really funny that you love the video quality. I do too, but it isn't from a video camera. I use my Panasonic DMC-ZS3. It is a point and shoot, with a nice lens, big zoom, and takes HD video. I kept it when we bought our SLR because it fits great in your pocket, takes good outdoor pics (not great low light pics), but primarily for the video.

@bmadkey At the risk of sounding like a Panasonic commercial, I'll tell you a few other things I just remembered. This camera has a couple extra really nice video features. 1) Stereo microphones, one on each side of the camera, for better audio. 2) Zoom while shooting video. Rare but important feature for a point and shoot. 3) Image Stabilization - Combine that with the 12x optical zoom lens for really good video capability. Check out the reviews on Amazon.

@Lex1999to2011 Well, she figured it out. It was Mother's Day, and my son's birthday. So I had them each sketch a picture of something really fun we could do that day. I had previously drawn a picture of Cinderella's castle, with the word Disney, in their special font, at the top of the page, pretty large. I outlined that in black marker. When I pulled out the picture to share, even with it upside down in my lap, she figured it out... and immediately started bouncing on the couch.
