This amerikan is so full of crap. The performance of this car is the same engine as the new Corolla, and has loads of horsepower and torque. It out paces the Honda Fit, and the Nissan. It also gets over 40 on the highway. The stereo is extremely easy to work, and its controls are on the steering wheel. If this stupid amerikan can't figure it out, he needs to by a chevrolay!

personally i wouldn't want an sx4 or an xd, but the grand vitara is a decent car.

Surprisingly, I like the looks of the xD. The model featured here looks sharp in black and the optional wheels. Does it handle and drive better than a Corolla? Please someone, say yes!

I like the Scion XD, I simply cant see why people think it looks like a box? maybe they see a bit of a hummer look to it but the XD has a much smoother surface on the front. People need to get use to the new generations of cars.

This is the only cool Scion of the current lineup for my money -- the new xB feels too much like a pimped-out minivan and the tC is the car that teenage girls who can't afford an Eclipse get.

I just bought one of these one week ago. I got the standard manual for $15,170 and i have to say that i am VERY happy with it. It's a very comfortable ride,lot's of room,and the manual is REALLY fast! The sound system is a bit of a pain to use at times,but overall i have to say it's really a great car. Oh wow, this guy really missed the mark on the Scion Xd. The car has more than enough power, using a pure Toyota Corolla drivetrain. The quality is much higher than the Suzuki. I checked them all out, (Honda fit, Nissan versa, and that weird Suzuki thing with the sewing machine engine), and found the Scion Xd was the only way to go. They were all underpowered compared to the Xd, especially the Honda fit/or as I call it "epileptic fit".
