The current (not new) Stadium is so unlike Ruth's Stadium, it's not funny.

Ruth's stadium seated over 72,000. The current Stadium seats 55,000.

The New one seats 3,000 less. More oom for aisles, concourses, and seats.

the main purpose of this new stadium is money.The Yankees think that they will make more money with new stadium. As far as I am concern, there was nothing wrong with the current stadium. I was there last year and looked around, if it was taken care of it would be fine, but there are not enough luxary boxes. And that is the bottom line. I am very upset with the replacement of the current Yankee Stadium I have alot of memories. Hank7

i was just there a week ago with mu uncle and my cousin. My uncle knows the "big man" there who oversees everything..and he took us on a tour of the new stadium, and he explained where things were going to go and how it was going to look. Im telling you right now..it is going to be AMAZING..the locker room, the workout room, even girardi's office is 3 times bigger. They have added so much technology to this thing its ridiculous. Prices will be the same. Seeing this was a wonderful sight.

The Stadium will be great. However will the working person be able to afford to go to a game there? Seeing tickets that were $5.50 in 1976 that are now $325 makes me sick. I can understand that things go up in time but that's just pure greed. Anyway I'm sure the new Stadium will be awsome. However I'll have to see it on TV. Those prices are too rich for my blood.
