just got my buddy to watch this link, and he is a first year cop. As a new cop, he is 99% of the time biased that cops are always in the right, and the civilian in the wrong. After watching this fat-ass-piece-of-shit-excuse for a cop beat up a 95 lb girl, his response was, "Damn dude, that is pretty fucked up". Could not believe it, but that was all the evidence I needed to see how cruel and fucked up the people are who side with the cop in this video
As a cop, I HATE to say it but I 've gotta call excessive force on this one. The female was struck after she backed up for him and slammed way too hard. We are supposed to use the LEAST amount as possible to get control. I didn't see that here.

Abuse of power clearly caught on tape. I see comments below of people who think that "she got what she deserved" and whether or not that's true is not even relevant. Police cannot be allowed to behave this way. What you are seeing in this video is a police officer beating up a woman and throwing her to ground. I don't know what video you are watching. I saw a man being told to get on the ground and not doing it. If you don't listen you get taken down with what ever force is needed. The woman in red came up grabbed the cop and at that point he is authorized to take her down. How much do you have to weigh to grab his gun and shoot him? With her distracting him someone else could have grabbed the gun. Once she grabbed him she was being placed under arrest. you can't just walk away.

Just these snippets do the officer no justice at all. They jumped a girl in her vehicle. The white male starts pounding her truck with his fists and threatening the other passengers. He resists arrest and then his girl friend tries to fight the officer.....what if he allows her to hit him reach in her purse grab a blade or gun, then its a different tune. He backed away from her and she approached him again!! That's when she got sprayed. Don't get drunk! Learn to handle your consumption.

Next time you watch a video about "police brutality," especially one at an event where there are a lot of people drinking, try to think about how many drunks or nonconformists are in the area who are undoubtedly willing to fight an officer if he makes the slightest attempt to arrest someone.
The officer doesn't "SLAM" her onto the ground (contrary to the title of the video), as that would require him turning around, grabbing her mid-section, and then THROWING her into the pavement. He simply maintains a hold on her belt and pulls her feet out from under her, which is a common tactic in getting an uncooperative suspect to get on the ground. Everything the officer did was for his own protection, and he was completely within his legal rights in doing so.
The girl then tries to leave the area after commiting a crime (interference with the apprehension of a suspect, possible assault on an officer, failure to comply with an officer). She is then treated like any other person attempting to flee a crime scene (keep in mind, you don't have to run to be fleeing, and a crime scene isn't necessarily the scene of a murder or robbery).
@dawgydance YOU Keep in mind that this fleeing is against the law, however the assault on her (by the officer) is a direct violation of the U.S constitution in relation to the police brutality act. He uses more than minimum force when slamming her on the ground (after she has been peppersprayed) which by law is illegal.

My argument is still applicable though. It doesn't change the fact that she grabs him, which can be assault on an officer, and he responds appropriately in self defense. When he "slams" her onto the ground, he doesn't use more than the minimum force. Not to sound condescending, but do you expect him to gingerly put her on her knees and then make her lie down? He pulls her legs from under her. Gravity is doing the slamming, not him. If any excess was used, it was the pepper spray.

just got my buddy to watch this link, and he is a first year cop. As a new cop, he is 99% of the time biased that cops are always in the right, and the civilian in the wrong. After watching this fat-ass-piece-of-shit-excuse for a cop beat up a 95 lb girl, his response was, "Damn dude, that is pretty fucked up". Could not believe it, but that was all the evidence I needed to see how cruel and fucked up the people are who side with the cop in this video

As a cop, I HATE to say it but I 've gotta call excessive force on this one. The female was struck after she backed up for him and slammed way too hard. We are supposed to use the LEAST amount as possible to get control. I didn't see that here.

Abuse of power clearly caught on tape. I see comments below of people who think that "she got what she deserved" and whether or not that's true is not even relevant. Police cannot be allowed to behave this way. What you are seeing in this video is a police officer beating up a woman and throwing her to ground. It's on tape, and any rational person can see that this was not a situation where it was necessary for him to do that.

That is the truth. The girl grabbed the officer, so he has every right to do what he did. The police can't afford to mess around. There are people everywhere yelling, and the girl won't listen. I don't know what video you are watching. I saw a man being told to get on the ground and not doing it. If you don't listen you get taken down with what ever force is needed. The woman in red came up grabbed the cop and at that point he is authorized to take her down. How much do you have to weigh to grab his gun and shoot him? With her distracting him someone else could have grabbed the gun. Once she grabbed him she was being placed under arrest. you can't just walk away.

THE FACTS: 1) This IS police brutality! The cop continued to strike the male after he was down and cooperating. The cop also used excessive force to subdue the female. Police officers are required by law to protect everyone...even people that are being arrested. 2) If this were black people getting beat by a cop the good Reverends Sharpton and Jackson would be in town organizing rallies, holding hands and marching with signs in front of the ploice station.

Just these snippets do the officer no justice at all. They jumped a girl in her vehicle. The white male starts pounding her truck with his fists and threatening the other passengers. He resists arrest and then his girl friend tries to fight the officer.....what if he allows her to hit him reach in her purse grab a blade or gun, then its a different tune. He backed away from her and she approached him again!! That's when she got sprayed. Don't get drunk! Learn to handle your consumption.

Next time you watch a video about "police brutality," especially one at an event where there are a lot of people drinking, try to think about how many drunks or nonconformists are in the area who are undoubtedly willing to fight an officer if he makes the slightest attempt to arrest someone.

The officer doesn't "SLAM" her onto the ground (contrary to the title of the video), as that would require him turning around, grabbing her mid-section, and then THROWING her into the pavement. He simply maintains a hold on her belt and pulls her feet out from under her, which is a common tactic in getting an uncooperative suspect to get on the ground. Everything the officer did was for his own protection, and he was completely within his legal rights in doing so.

The girl then tries to leave the area after commiting a crime (interference with the apprehension of a suspect, possible assault on an officer, failure to comply with an officer). She is then treated like any other person attempting to flee a crime scene (keep in mind, you don't have to run to be fleeing, and a crime scene isn't necessarily the scene of a murder or robbery).

@dawgydance YOU Keep in mind that this fleeing is against the law, however the assault on her (by the officer) is a direct violation of the U.S constitution in relation to the police brutality act. He uses more than minimum force when slamming her on the ground (after she has been peppersprayed) which by law is illegal.

My argument is still applicable though. It doesn't change the fact that she grabs him, which can be assault on an officer, and he responds appropriately in self defense. When he "slams" her onto the ground, he doesn't use more than the minimum force. Not to sound condescending, but do you expect him to gingerly put her on her knees and then make her lie down? He pulls her legs from under her. Gravity is doing the slamming, not him. If any excess was used, it was the pepper spray.
