@DejaVu073 Ending to the comic was absolutely not retarded. It's pretty much exactly the same. Adrien Veidt creating a monster? Was that so unbelievably. In the movie when Dan and Laurie are in the restaurant you hear someone order a 4 legged chicken, and Adrien has Bubastis, both of these are things that were created from his research in genetics. Only difference with the ending is they though the threat was Jon and not an alien race. It's essentially the same, and didn't really need changing.

If you're calling Rorschach a badass, then it sounds like you misunderstood the point of the film. This isn't rehashing the badass formula that permeates comic-book films, it's intention was to paint them as humans. No amount of celebrity or technology can take away that level of vuneralibility(sp?).

It's ambitions do create some flaws, but you still can't deny that it paves the way for more originality in the comic-book genre.
