I never really understood marinating a ribeye...why not just buy a less tastey cut of beef if you're going to mask the meat's flavors with marinade? I use a pinch of sea salt, some fresh ground pepper, and once in a while I will melt a little bit of butter with minced garlic to add to my plate before dropping my ribeye steak on it. Other than that, ribeyes don't need any extra flavor...in my opinion.

Little coarse salt and black pepper on both sides rub with a little of olive oil put some worcestershire sauce and on top some fresh or powder garlic leave it on the refri for about 2 hrs take them out wait 30 min an them put those bad boys on your favorite grill remember Dont play ehit the food just turn them ONCE enjoy
the marinade sounds like a good thing, and the compound butter is good, but that steak is way overdone! Get a 'que with indirect heat, or use your top shelf after the initial searing on both sides. You need more indirect heat man, those steaks looked cooked all the way through, meh.
you need to dry your steaks before your grill them!!(with paper towels)
