Losing to them and not being competitive to the point that the rivalry suffers is another thing. By that, I mean that one main thing that has fueled this rivalry has been that both teams are usually pretty good when they play each other. It keeps the rivalry healthy.

Regardless of any missed calls, Michigan would still have lost. Missed calls are a part of sports. They happen. I'm not saying I saw any in this game, but if they don't alter the outcome of the game in the win/loss catagory, they don't matter. Again, Michigan could have not beaten Ohio State in this game even with some extra penalties against OSU that would have kept those UM drives alive. Even if they scored TDs on those drives, UM couldn't stop OSU and they knew it.

There were about 3 pass interference calls they completely ignored and were blatantly obvious in that half as well. The refs were the Buckeye's greatest asset. I know people don't like it when fans blame the refs for a loss (which I'm not) but there is no way Michigan would have been blown out like that if the refs weren't horrible.

That's true. The problem is not the b/s calls. it's the missed calls... which is hard to believe weren't intentionally missed by the refs. The unsportsman like penalties were meaningless. They didn't end any OSU drives. They didn't do anything to effect the score of the game. What did mean something were the 3+ blatant pass interference missed calls in the first half, all of which ended Michigan drives.

Regardless of any missed calls, Michigan would still have lost. Missed calls are a part of sports. They happen. I'm not saying I saw any in this game, but if they don't alter the outcome of the game in the win/loss catagory, they don't matter. Again, Michigan could have not beaten Ohio State in this game even with some extra penalties against OSU that would have kept those UM drives alive. Even if they scored TDs on those drives, UM couldn't stop OSU and they knew it.

illegal chop block and a block in the back on that kick return... the refs were nonexistent in the first half. There were about 3 pass interference calls they completely ignored and were blatantly obvious in that half as well. The refs were the Buckeye's greatest asset. I know people don't like it when fans blame the refs for a loss (which I'm not) but there is no way Michigan would have been blown out like that if the refs weren't horrible.

That's true. The problem is not the b/s calls. it's the missed calls... which is hard to believe weren't intentionally missed by the refs. The unsportsman like penalties were meaningless. They didn't end any OSU drives. They didn't do anything to effect the score of the game. What did mean something were the 3+ blatant pass interference missed calls in the first half, all of which ended Michigan drives.

You must not have been looking hard because you really can't miss it. I slowed down the tape and the defender had both arms wrapped around Roundtree while the ball was at least a yard away from the receiver still. It's extremely obvious.

You obviously did not. The only thing the announcers were saying were bad was the unsportsman like conduct penalties!

The calls were correct, although unnecessary, yet they still didn't make up for the drive killing errors that occured against Michigan. Personal fouls after touchdowns does not constitute as a valid argument.

@SSMISCHIEF1 There were many arrogant Michigan fans when they were doing well. They weren't all that way, but there were plenty. The shoe is on the other foot now. Hopefully some OSU fans don't get out of control, but there is plenty to be proud of. Michigan isn't #1, they are far from it at the moment. OSU, which destroyed Michigan yesterday, has some weakness', and they need improvement. It's time to support big 10 teams in Bowl games rather than fight amongst ourselves. BEAT the SEC!
