this controller is the solution to the wii u problem and the new smaller wii's that dont have the gamecube controller ports but good luck finding one. radioshack dont have them anymore I found 1 by pure luck on ebay for 35 bucks but they work great
Oooooooo! I REALLY want one of those! @.@ hopefully if I ever get one the joystick won't be sensitive. :c I bought 2 wireless controllers & I can't play with them very well when it come to games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl cause the characters keep running when I'm just trying to walk.. so I trip a lot. :l
@bulletfreak224 - at the time i got it, it was $20. Not sure if they still have them, but last I saw, they were marked down to $10, and that was a few months ago.
@frappermac - 1:20 - 1) Should have had traditional digital rubber triggers, like a PS2 pad. 2) Dpad should've been in the proper place and a full cross instead of weird rocker circle that probably feels like it'll break or doesn't get precise directions. 3) Yellow C-stick should've been a full size stick like the Left stick, 4) YXBA's should have been shaped like they are on original Classic Controller and SNES. (Hori made one like this, but they still messed up in some areas).
@pattycain what?, I was just saying that it would be better to use it as a gamecube controller instead of using it as a classic controller 'cause you're waisting the wii mote's batteries and the gamecube's batteries when you use it :P
@pattycain - "But what if you don't HAVE a classic controller???" - Even though they have those god-awful clickity zL and zR buttons, the old flat Classic is still better than this Gigaware crap, and I dislike the Pro because the buttons on that feel mushy compared to the pop of the originals and they moved their sticks too far out. This Gigaware thing -might- be okay as a PC controller, but not on the Wii where you can't re-map. Try playing SMW with Y as Run and B as Jump, kinda hard.
@pattycain - That was my point, -of course- it's hard on the Gamecube controller because the shapes and positioning are awkward and you can't remap buttons on the Wii like you can on an emulator, so something simple like holding down Y with the tip of your thumb and hitting B with the butt of your thumb for a Run + Jump turns into an painful game of Twister with your fingers, not comfortable like it is on SNES and the original Classic Controller. Gigaware failed, hard.
LOL i got mario kart also. and its very fun too play for those who did not heard about it but its a lot funner on internet but its best to do single player first because you will need to unlock new characters and new vehicles for those who wants it more funner also.
