Japans mentality is a fucked up one, its cultural so you cant get mad. To many foreigners should be seen as something to benefit the country and leave. @aKenChanFilm in india, we have a show on AXN(it's a channel) where they show crazy videos from America but they don't depict it like all americans are like that or do things like that..it's just crazy videos(e.g. mishaps, car crashes, ppl doing pranks and what not). also, most indian ppl aren't naive to think that those videos represent all americans. so my question is: what exactly are they saying in japanese? are they instigating & saying that americans are all like that.?
@GeneralBacklash coformity is a part of life in Asia, not just East Asia..even in the Middle east and South Asia...but that's not to say everyone conforms..there are millions who chose to take a different path. Eastern cultures are traditionally hierarchical based cultures, the older person must be given respect which is great but this hierarchy based way of thinking flows into other parts of life where it get's a little tricky.
