  • Anybody that can tell me why does he uses such a strange frets? Tnank you

  • @azraelmetal

    True temperament scale, google it.

  • @paulojcduarte Thanks!

  • @azraelmetal they are exact intonation points on the fret board

  • Hal is not fully

  • mantap bro,,..

  • christophe godin

  • are the frets not straight??

  • yes they are not straight :D they are true temperament frets

  • Steve vai do the same, It's called True Temperament, and makes the tune more accurate then straight frets. Stay in tune better and sound in tune in all modes.

  • hes using a new fret design, it ensured perfect intonation for each fret, ver clever design, vias starting to use it but its not on his signature models yet, doubt it will because not evry1 prefers it. but yer there called temperment frets i believe

  • @666darkruben666 it's a true temperament fretboard, something some luthier dude came up with to achieve perfectly tempered notes from each string on each fret.

  • @666darkruben666 True Temperament Fretting System

  • surströmming!

  • Mattias is aweosme!

Play's amazing and he is funny as hell! haha!

  • i notice he's got true temperment fets on this guitar's neck

  • and they sound awesome!

  • @hermitette he got it on all guitars, they are amazing i played them for 1nhour and could barley play my entry level budget Ibanez after :p

  • @hermitette I see what you mean but how does it affect the sound?

  • @jajajah86 From what i've read: it improves sustain when letting chords ring out (for example) because the strings are not only in tune with themselves, on each fret, but they are also in tune with all the other strings, at the correct intervals of course.

  • @hermitette actually, it's to have every note be intonated 100% perfectly, for example, if u tune your guitar to E, an A minor chord is not 100% in tune. with this system, it is.

  • Fuck you! He is guitar god

  • saw him today on a guitar clinic workshop in essen.

    he's just awesome!

  • FREAK OUT !!!
