  • @2004svtterminator another amazing comment :D stickers and silly wing? I dont even have a wing, and fart? I dont understand? You make me so proud of myself, keep sinking lower man, I cant wait for your next comment where you insult my mother :D I dont even have a "wing" on my car hahaha, I do have a stock spoiler...is that up to your already very low standards?

  • @2004svtterminator awesome comment! I love to rival in the complete ignorance and immaturity you have. Honda's are excellent cars....keep it coming :D you are just producing complete immaturity.

  • im sorry if you felt offended, i was just responding to your arrogance thinking that you own a mercedes..

  • @Dani01c not offended just no need for the profanity, and its not arrogance at all, and I would think it obvious from the videos I dont own a Mercedes. I have no idea where that comment came from.

  • @DimensionX its called sarcasm.. google it

  • Do you feel any performance from the K&N filter?

  • @rhyno909 you can buy a ebay filter, i felt the difference in mine plus it was loud as hell... also somehow the car redlined @6700rpms after installing it, maybe it was the accord i used to own, i dont know what was it lol

  • @Dani01c I try and avoid ebay items that are just generic knock offs, like cheap ass spoilers that look like erector sets, LOL! I do know the simple "cone filter" exists I am just saving for a more legit system, I bet it was loud since it bypassed all that stupid plastic, LOL!

  • @DimensionX lol what a douche, actually it was cai/sri but i prefered sri it felt more responsive and louder and it gained 6whp from it just like any other sri and was made out of aluminum and it cost me 10 bucks, i wasn't going to spend lots of money in such a shitty and cheap ass car... im glad i sold that granny slow ass accord, too bad yoyou are stuck with that time bomb that's about to explode and strart giving you tranny problems

  • @Dani01c thanks for the childish remarks, I merely stated I did not want to buy a generic ebay item, seen too many of those "spoilers" . And saying the car is cheap ass is also pretty lame blow, the accord is an amazing car. Yeah, its a slow AUTO but the euro R is pretty awesome. Im not stuck with any time bomb, I have surpassed 100k no worries and the tranny is still strong and does not slip, I am aware of the fact that it could crap out and its a know problem. Thanks again for the comments.

  • Do you see more performance from the k&n filter than stock?

  • if you put it in D3 it would accelerate faster from 90-120. D4 is like over drive and picks up slower

  • i have the exact same car and i was wonering if you have ever had times when the car shifts at 6250 but there are other times when it shifts at 6k?

  • @fifaplayer10 what gear are we talking here? all of them? If I go for a speed run I manually shift 1-2-D3-D4 and the red line

  • @DimensionX oh how many seconds do you actually shave off by manually shifting it? well most of the time it shifts all the way up to the redline in 1st and 2nd gear. but i just put on D4 and floor it starting. from like a 5mph roll

  • @fifaplayer10 well I have a little dynometer on my iphone, Im sure its not 100% reliable, but its clocked me a 6.7, where as just putting it in D4 yields 7.4-7.5, plus I have lightweight rims, which probably helps, less torque required, I dunno the difference between 7.4 and 6.7 is not much

  • @DimensionX that's a half a second faster so that is a bigger diffrence. i have a sedan so it's a bit heavier and it gets from 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds.

  • @fifaplayer10 yeah sedans are heavier, plus Honda puts on heavy rims, I think they weigh 25 pounds my drag wheels weigh 12 each, so that is a lot less torque required to turn the wheels.

  • Nice dude. It seems a lot of people underestimate how fast some Honda's can actually go.

  • @Razgriz2118 thanks man!

  • @DimensionX No problem

  • fukin nice bro

  • @xxnissansilviaxx thanks man, Need to get a few more mods and I will try to run it again, preferably at a track....2 tickets = no bueno!

  • If you do everythin right- new air intake & exhaust on a 1997-2000 Honda accord v6 coupe w/AC OFF, a set of Bridgestone RE950 or RE 960 tires & a manual tranny on flat, dry ground w/relatively warm temps, ull hit 60 in 6.5secs easy. Even if u have a sedan w/an auto tranny, ull still hit 60 at or under 7secs :) not to mention if u maintain it properly it'll last forever! Honda is amazing! xD

  • @terrag0708 LOL my 4,000lb behemoth will run 0-60 in 6.5secs with the A/C, on shitty BF goodrich tires. The accord's are turds, my lil altima with the crappy KA24DE used to bust the hell out of those things.

  • @svtlincoln making stuff up just disproves your credibility even more, so your 4,000lb altima.....has 300 horsepower??? because that's what a 4k beast would need to get anywhere close to a 6.5 second 0-60. Unless you have like a 2000+ SE or SE-R???? if that is the case race a equal year accord and the times will be the same, its not like I can brag when I beat a car 1988 corolla....the cars are completely different. Make a fair comparison next time.

  • @Dimension i didn't say i had a 4,000lb altima. I said my 4,000lb behemoth, and made a reference to a lil 4cyl altima i used to have. notice it says "used to bust the hell out of.." you see that?? and KA24DE, last i checked they ain't used that motor in an altima in a long time, and there wasn't a 2000 SE-R altima, the 3.5L didn't debut til 2002 in the altima, the 00-01 still used the 2.4L. now my 4,000lb car is a Lincoln, 4.6L DOHC 32 Valve, making 315-330hp.

  • @svtlincoln that's why i said 2000+ as in after the 2000's they were much faster. Yes the SE-R's are quick its a much newer car, that's all I was saying. sorry for the confusion. What was your 4000 behemoth?

  • @DimensionX The 4,000lb car is my Lincoln Mark VIII i currently have. Stock 280hp, 7.3sec 0-60 with a 3.07 rear gear. Add to that some underdrives, an 80mm Cobra MAF, a custom tune, exhaust and some 3.73's... and you get :D :D :D :D Yea the SE-R's are very quick, I was workin at nissan when the first SE-R altimas were coming out... those were some fun "test drives" lol

  • @svtlincoln ahhh I had a Mercury Cougar.....the Merk version of the Mark VIII. It was a 1986 so very slow at first but had the 5.0L engine in it so it sounded cool and the digital readout was so cool back then. Well, of course your Mark is quick its got 80 more horsepower .1 behind you, I would say that's pretty good, what is it a 1998?

  • @DimensionX Mine is a 95, and my 0-60 time is 6.3-6.5 now. Yea the 80's cougar and Mark VII's were very similar, once the 93 models hit the differences were more significant, main difference being the Mark VIII packed the DOHC 4.6 while the Cougar/Thunderbird had the SOHC engine, the 5.0 cars weren't my fav. and now im sure some 5.0 guy will read this and freak lol

  • @svtlincoln dang a 95 with a 6.3 what are you running in that thing...no way it is stock because stock time for that car is like 8.8 if you have the EX V6

  • @DimensionX lol dude im talkin bout my lincoln.

  • When it comes to acceleration (& other things) there are alot of things that come into play- having the A/C on will knock off a good 1 to 1.5secs, what type & quality of tires you're runnin, coupe vs sedan, road surface temp, manual vs auto tranny, etc. Those are basic everyday things. Aside from that, some cheap upgrades which will improve your hp, torque, AND gas mileage would be to buy a nice air intake & a good exhaust system.

  • Stickers make ur car faster. Thats y my car IS MADE OF stickers :P lmao. Pyschhh

  • throw a gook pipe and some NOS stickers on it and you should be able to cut like 4 seconds off your 0-90

  • your forgot about the wing.. lol

  • lol, yesss stickers add like 5 HP each easily and a erector set wing ( LIKE ALL U NOOBS HAVE AND I HATE IT) does absolutely nothing, stop buying ebay spoilers, I can tell in 2 seconds that that piece of shit piece of metal on your trunk cots u 50 bucks max!

  • nice shit man i love the 6th gen i got a 5th gen check my videos out

  • yaY 230.01

  • HEY WHATS THE WEIGHT of your car?? cause i have the sedan aacord . does any one know the difference???

  • Stock my car weighs 3,241, and the sedan weighs 3,329 so only like 100 lbs difference. But I have lightweight rims and other lightweight stuff so I might have shaved 40lbs off, not sure.

  • Bro, please tell us what u did to ur accord, because 0-60 in 6.5 is awesome for this year accord. I have an 02 accord V6 coupe, and I run Amsoil synthetic, but that's about it. So how did you get your AV6, which is very similar, to run 0-60 in 6.5???? BTW what's your 1/4 mile time? I run 16.3, nothing special..

  • I run synthetic oil, just switched to castrol synthetic....I have lightweight rims, which I guess can affect the acceleration.....less weight to rotate. 6.5 is a rare good run, my 1/4 I dont recall I will have to test it out. Have you ever manually shifted it? you get a little more power band rather then just sticking it in D4, so I run usually 6.5 - 7 secs, not bad I guess seeing as how the stock time is 7.4. Im excited to get my AEM CAI in, and hear the sound and hopefully gain some hp :D

  • Well, after watching it a couple times, reading the description and some comments. I realized 6.5 - 7.0, is about right for these cars (with a little bit of weight reduction, of course) Still, it's great to hear of any improvements in performance, especially without having to spend too much. Once you've installed your CAI, post a vid for us, and also if u happen to go out to the track, let me know what you ran. Thanks.

  • ya see....7.0 ish, nothing spectacular, hehe. Yes I will definitely post a video when I get my CAI in, IM soooo excited. But for sure I will keep you guys updated. Thanks for the comments!

  • how did ya make ya car do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds???? i timed it on my watch just then. thats unreal for a auto. i dont know how ya made ya car do that time cause mine is 7.5 with a short ram

  • well this seemed like a luck "normal launch" I usually shift it at 1-2-D3-D4 you get a little more powerband out of the engine versus the computer shifting you at like 6. Even when I dont shift it I can get 6.5's I have synthetic oil, lightweight rims, and a K&N drop in, im soon going to upgrade to a true AEM CAI! I cant wait to hear the difference.

  • Nice!

  • This makes me miss our Accord. Sadly we totaled it going 70, and for some reason, the airbags didn't deploy. The car did run like a dream though.

  • mine goes from 0-60 in like 5 seconds if u push it.... 91 honda accord dx's are damn wicked fast all stock too!

  • that is completely impossible. a 91 accord with 125 horsepower wont touch my 2000 accord with 200, sorry man, keep dreaming. You are telling me your 91 accord is going to keep up with a EVO IX, haha yeah right!

  • i think nckkinney is a little out of his mind with his honda going 0-60 in 5 sec.........we shoul race him i have a 94 accord 0-60 in about 6.5 sec i was just saying and is this your car in the video if soo its fast

  • dang your accord must be upgraded a lot to get a 6.5! I can push a 6.5 if im lucky with my sport shifts, LOL! but yeah 5 seconds thats EVO speed. Ya my baby is pretty fast, I wish I had some extra funds to do the little things I want to do, like lowering springs and some cooler sounding exhaust.

  • my car is a sedan accord and does it in 7.5 seconds

  • This video is ... 0 to 90 MPH . Yours 0 to 60 MPH .

  • Nice, you'll have to post more videos if you get some of those mods.

  • Nah, I live in WI, that would be quite a drive for me. I had my EGR valve go out last summer, maybe a Honda thing idk. I want to mod my car, but don't have money. It only has 58000 miles on it, so still a lot of life left in it.

  • Yes yo do, mines got 95k and still runs really good. The EGR is a know issue in Accord coupes I looked it up...I want to mod mine too, talking to a guy that is gonna hook me up with stuff hopefully....im getting rims soon so that might improve the accel....being lightweight and all.

  • I have to laugh at all the people that say he is going downhill. I have the same car, with mobile 1 synthetic oil, and no special air filter, and I run very similar times. The reason that this car's 0-60 time is so fast is because they don't really burn out when you take off, they just grip and go. You can make them smoke if you want, but that costs you valuable seconds. Oh, and they really can do around 150 I've had mine up to 140, ran out of room lol! Nice car by the way, we should race:)

  • finally someone on my side, LOL! Yes shes a nice car :) Do you live in cali? Im always up for a good ol' race. I need my oil changed soon and now my EGR valve has failed, but that just means im polluting more, LOL!

    Thanks for the comment.

  • how'd you hit 140? i have the same car, and it rev limits at like 110. down a hill you may hit 120. (thats all i've gotten to anyhow).

  • That is your governor, not your rev limiter. My car doesn't have a governor on it, only a rev limiter, which doesn't hit until about 6800 rpm's or so. I never removed the governor, it just doesn't have one. That would be my guess. And at 140, there is still more rpm's to go, so that's not even close to the top speed. When you hit 110, does the car bog down and go back to around 100? If so, then it is definitely your governor. If not, something is wrong with your car lol.

  • i looked into it on some forums. it doesn't bog down so its not a governor. what happens the torque converter locks up at that speed normally so you have to downshift to d3 and redline it before upshifting.

  • Hmm.....that's weird. I usually use d3 when going faster just because it gets there quicker, but sometimes I just punch it, and I still go over 110. Maybe my cars torque converter doesn't work like it's supposed to. Oh well, just means that I can go faster lol.

  • we all should race lol. i got a 2000 accord ex coupe too :). except its a little more tuned. turbrocharger with all the goodies like the BOV and all that crap. i remember when it was stock though, i mean...honestly, accords got some power

  • totally, Like I have told some other gents, I am always up for a good race but I need to give her a little tune up before, my brakes scare me right now and I was racing a RSX back from san francisco and I scared myself which is rare.....only because I knew my brakes were shit and I was going to too fast that if something were to happen the brakes would not stop me, so I need to do brakes an oil this weekend :D but totally, count me in.

  • yea we should my 94 accord is very fast pushing it 0-60 in 6.7.........

  • deff a v6

  • I4 or V6 cylinder?

  • V6 of course :D

  • sorry to hear that... stick ftw!

  • y sorry? shes pretty quick for a auto :D

  • Haha i was partially kidding and yes the v6 in that is pretty fast... I just personally enjoy stick over auto even at the expense of two cylinders

  • and about 50 less HP! but whos counting, LOL! Yes...manual is wayy more fun! I wish I could have found a 5 speed, but they are rare!

  • Dude keep lying, your car is not a stock car on a flat street

The thing that makes me think its downhill is that it doesn't have the typical "rpm hover" when it changes gears

IN our j30's it seems the Rpm's "hover" at red line, before it shifts to the next gear. The video doesn't have that, which makes me believe its on a downhill slope

  • that RPM hover only happens to me in the morning when the car is cold. After it has warmed up to operating temp I never get that hover, have your car checked out if its hovering like that. You guys are seriously arguing over .4 seconds? Its not like im boasting my car goes 0-60 in 5 seconds....its a .4 difference. 7.4....7.0, its not like my car is really that fast...saddly :(

  • Try using Eneos instead of royal purple.

  • BS man, stock Accords do not do 0-60 in 7 seconds flat . You are clearly on a downhill

  • well the stock accord goes 0-60 in 7.4...look it up. you are going to argue over a .4 difference? Plus I have high performance oil and a drop in high flow filter and good tires....I have got a 7.1 once as well.

  • depends on the year. the '09 accord v6 coupe MT can go 0-60 in under 6 secs

  • Yeah those Honda v6 are pritty fast:D You haters are just mad cuz your muscle cars aint as relible as jap scraps! Cool video, and that was really good! Was that down hill?

  • nope not downhill....I have recently done back to back tests using the 1-2-D3-D4 shifting vs. leaving it in D4 and successfully taken 1 second off its 0-60....ill hopefully have a vid up soon.

  • Cool! Anyway good job! Is it coupe or sedan?

  • coupe of course :D

  • How many valves, im guessing 24, right?

  • yeah, SOCH 24 valve V6

  • nice vid man. there is a gov on this car isnt there? cuz i did a speed run the other night, and my car limited at 110. as soon as the car hit fourth gear, the rpms dropped to like 4k

  • WOw! thats odd. I have had it well over 110, almost 150 it takes a long time. Here is my trick, dont put it in D4, shift it up yourself So put it in 1st, then shift like a manual, you'll be amazed how fast you can go. I usually shift at the 6500 mark which is the first mark in the red after the 6. Now you have to work on the timing because the needle travels a bit as you shift so shift a little before the 6500 mark. I hear you though in D4 it goes slow but I have never had it drop me down to 4K

  • thanks for the reply man. i mean, i have tried manual shifting it because its more fun, but yeah ill see if i can record a vid for ya. i just thought it was strange. i mean the car is clean, its only got 70000 miles on it :/ so i kno it can do it

  • every time I plan on doing a speed run, I pull on the freeway and sure enough...CHP is right there so I cant do it.

  • dude just remember to keep it in D3 till you are about to hit rev limiter which should be around 128.. mine somhow is reving to around 6700rpms dont know how and i just got a sri nothing else besides that.. you should get one it costed me 8 buck on ebay lol and youll feel the difference and it sounds amazing and loud at around 6000rpms which will be screaming lol

  • Exactly, D3 makes a huge difference versus having in D4 the entire time. I wouldn't buy a 6 buck sri off ebay, I have done that before. im saving up for a good one like an INJEN RD for about 200 bucks. And SRI's aren't any better because they take hot air from within the engine bay, granted the noise difference. But cold air takes air from below the car, much better. Thanks for the comment :D

  • well :S i put mine cai too but i didnt like it dont know why it didnt feal react the same and it had less of a growl.. i think it is as they said in v6p which is the car has very weak low end torque and sri gives it that while CAI weakens it more.. so i left it sri :S but you try it maybe ist diferent with your car because of the place you live humidity etc etc

  • well I am looking at the DYNO charts for the Injen RD, the K&N and the AEM CAI's and the only one that seems to deliver low torque increases is the AEM and the Injen....the AEM kicks in a boost around 3700 RPM's so maybe look into one of those. Also noted the AEM gains at most 8HP!

  • i think mine gained around 8hp and at night when its cold vtec kicks in at 3500 but you really feel the kick around 3700-4000rpms pretty cool though but i really want some headers but havent bought any because im insecure and dont know which ones to buy because they crack and shit and dont want any broken headers plus i dont have anyone to install them :S

  • 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, Impressive!

  • more like seven, but who's counting :D

  • @vuytr 8.0 seconds to be exact !

  • hate to get technical, but it doesn't REALLY hit 90 in 14sec. Look @ the gauge, it stops just b4(maybe 88)..then starts again. 80 comes in only 9 secs though, so this "stock" Accord is going down a STEEP hill. Look how fast the rpm's go up. Nice try.

  • actually...80 comes at 11 seconds and the fact that you think im going down hill is laughable. The incline I would have to be at to make the RPM's jump that fast would be damn near vertical. Its called tromping the gas, and my 0-60 in this video is 8 seconds (im not counting the 1 second where I am not hard on the accelerator) and this year accord 0-60 is 7.4 so I am getting a slower 0-60 going downhill? Ya, that makes sense.

  • Maybe you should re-watch yer vid using the pause button. The speedo/revs jumps @ 2 secs (I repeat 2) which is when the stopwatch SHOULD start. Especially, if you're NOT counting the 1st sec. anybody knows rolling starts are MUCH slower. It hits 80 @ 11 secs. 11-2=9 secs. 60 hits @ 8. 8-2=6secs. This is a good example of massively growing (i.e. from an hill) acceleration. What's laughable? What's EVIDENT?, is a better question. Use the pause button. Busted.

  • i actually thought the same thing :S its imposible to go that fast in an accord :S i own one and its definetly slower than that and its completely stock too i can make 7-7.5 secs to 60 in flat surface and i dont know cold weather but 6 secs.. hell no :S ill se when i install my intake which is in like 2-3 days :) i hope it improves a bit :)

  • Ya i get 7.1-7.4's normally, I'm not boasting that my car is some super amazing thing, I merely posted the vid (for some reason mykulc decided to pic on me even though other vids show the same 0-90 times) and I didn't even notice the 0-60 was 7 seconds, so its .4 off, I only subtract the 1 second where there is no acceleration. My in car dyno gave me a 7.2 today, so by no means am I trying to say my car is a 0-60 in 6 seconds, I would need more parts for that to occur, I so want a CAI!!!

  • yeah the saddest part is that cai aint going to do shit :( i know its supposed to feel a bit better but i dont know.. i know it aint going to change the car.. lets just face it our cars are slow!! lol!! but not the slowest! i somehow the other day managed to stay in the rear bumper of a xrs with intake! i was really impressed! lol! and my top speed has been 137 lol!

  • not true, it will add about 8-10 HP and that's a lot, could make a .2 to .4 difference in 0-60, and if you lighten your vehicle that drastically helps how quick you get to 50. Oh and she'll go 150 no prob ;D

  • yeah yeah i know sri adds 8whp dont know about the cai.. ppl say sri in our cars is better though because of the low end torque it gives bla bla but ill be telling you how it feels going to get it today :)... but um.. sorry no this car aint never going to reach 150 lol.. NEVER until i do something to 4th gear.. i couldnt pass from 135-137 it just cant its at like 4k rpm y need something else.. cls swap or something :( thats the only way to make it real fast

  • Do I need to film that too? I have done it, if you cant get past 140 you might need a tune up, I can get to 140 easily and have done it

  • im sorry but i have the same car with a RAI and other mods, but just because your spedo said 140mph doesn't mean it hit that speed. get a gps and see that that speedo is about ten mph off at those speeds. i have done it countless times

  • So are you saying the car is really going 10 mph slower or faster?

  • Well, if you were to have your throttle cable adjusted so that there was no slack in the line (which is probably terrible) you would find that your acceleration and top speed would improve if not dramatically, at least signifigantly. You also may have a different setting in your ECU, different states have different regs. There is also the fact that you could be lacking the proper amount of fluid, or preassure in your Transmission. Or you may need a tune up, or better oil, any number of things.

  • ummm i did maintainance less than 2 moths ago my car has 28k in the odo and uhh no the car has no problems at all completely stock sedan and it has nothing to do with all of that you shift at 4th at 128mph and goes down from 6500rpm to 4k rpm thats all.. nothing to do with the engine nor tranny but 150 do not think so one day maybe in a veeeeery long downhill lol!

  • How can it have nothing to do with the Engine or tranny? A gov. is a part of the engine albeit not a main part but it does help in its control, so if its governed to stop at I don't know, 120mph, that means it does involve the engine, if you couldnt reach the speed do to not having the RPM's its the trans. As for speed, as I said, bad gas, throttle response, clogged injectors. Even bad CV's, remember the old saying "Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done." as finite as I get

  • well my car doesnt have any speed limiter its was all going uphill and downhill but very short ones.. and curves too but in a freeway.. it goes very well until 130 which is when it goes to 4th.. 4th is an overdrive a VERY LONG gear.. thats all.. but never mind i got my intake!:D i have it short ram.. it feels a lot diferent besides it makes a LOT of noise around 6k rpm! lol! ill see when i make it cold and try going past 137 again with it :)

  • Actually, I will have to agree with the poster of this vid. If you were to pay attention to the layout of the Speedometer, you would see that the distance between the "0 mph" mark and the "10 mph" is of a shorter interval than that of the rest of the meter. In cases like this (as with most cars). The wire that controls the speedometer is positioned so that it reads accurately across the meter. There is a signifigant delay in the very first reading on the Speedometer durring acceleration.

  • Nice car, and for those who doubt. A stock time, is just an average time that is posted by the manufacturer as a bench mark for that model and year. Some are slower, some are faster. Not to mention, different years of the same gen, may have different characteristics, for example 93 vs. 95 civic. Same generation, diff times. (0-60 for 93 being roughly 8.4, the 95 being about 8.8)the sedans have an even greater performance gap, within the same generation. Just some food forw thought though.

  • yea but that doesnt mean that it should trap 10 more MPH than what its supposed to trap at.. that much faster isnt right for being stock

  • what all do you have done to your car now

  • same things

  • haha i guess so.. like i dont even know what to say besides your car is faster than stock... like im not trying to be a dick in any way shape or form cause i like the car but its just tooooooo fast for stock lol

  • maybe you need a tune up on yours

  • a stock accord wont let you shift passed 5500 rpm but for some reason yours is lol

  • dude... the 3.0L V6 redline's, and shifts at 6200 rpms.. not sure what you're talkin about.

  • haha trap is how fast you went in the quarter mile... well what im saying is that it looked like you were going to trap in the mid 90's on the track if you were to race which for some reason is faster than stock lol

  • well then my car is faster than stock, lol

  • and another thing. your car is shifting gears at 6000 rpm and once again when at stock its supposed to shift at 5500 rpm... not trying to be a dick or anything but something is going on here

  • im putting the pedal to the metal, this is how the car has shifted since I got it (1 year ago). No ticks I swear, if I don't floor it it shifts lower yes, but when I punch it this is the result.

  • and you might even of put a chip in your car which would give you a higher shift point cause your car shifted into 4th at 108 mph with at stock is supposed to shift at 102 mph which would give you more rpm to work with

  • lol, I wouldn't lie, what do I have to gain? I have no chips at all, oil and drop in air filter and but this point in time i was actually going up a slight grade. so the 6mph difference i don't understand

  • im sorry but this just isnt right.. like you have to be going down hill or something or have something in your car that we cant hear or something because a 2000 accord EX V6 which is the same car as mine is supposed to run a quarter mile at 16 sec. and trap at 87 mph so there is something going on that we just dont know about

  • Oil and air filter! Thats all my friend, and the car goes stock 0-60 in 7.4 so adding a high flow air filter and good oil might let me eeek out that .4 seconds, this really isnt all that impressive. and the Quarter mile is 15.8, lol. What do you mean by trap at 87mph?

  • nice run.. my coupe is sitting in the driveway right now.. needs a few things to get it back on the road... mines a little quicker than that, but you almost matched my 0-60 due to my lack of launching ability, im tractionless unless i barely feather the clutch from a dead stop.. i pulled at ~5.5-6 second 0-60...h22a swap, dumped exhaust, custom cai ram air, drag radials, etc..

  • Don't forget mines an AUTO, and has not mods, lol!

  • my gf's dad has a 03 accord coupe v6, that car is fkn amazing! awesome quality, great suspension, smooth as butter automatic shifts, its just great i love it!!

  • How did you get the car to 60mph in 6.9 sec? Which version of the car do you have? LX-V6 or EX-V6? Impressive indeed!!!

  • well i got that hi-flow filter and the oil, thats about it, and I use the semi-auto setting most of the time, i plan on getting a true cold air intake and exhaust, thanks :D

  • Semi auto, is that like using 1,2,D3,and D4?

  • yeah, its fun to use sometimes

  • dude nice... CHECK THE 2008 accord that baby roll!!!

  • nice, check out my 6g h22a swapped vids

  • I think this is a V6? Any mods?

  • yes its a V6, no mods

  • V6?

  • yes of course V6 and no mods, read the description...oil and a drop in filter, thats all!

  • Pretty quick...even faster than an Acura Legend SH-AWD.

  • thanks, I hope to make it even faster, a Intake and some exhaust I think will do nicely.... +10-15 more horses
