As a Man Utd fan I must admit that I enjoyed Henry's play as much as any1 during his Arsenal days. However, in my opinion he isn't the most technically gifted player ever...he's not even close to Ronaldinho,Ronaldo (samba), Zizou, Maradona, Messi or Cristiano technically.

Though he did score more fantastic goals in total than 90% of these guys.

Comparing Henry & Van Nistelrooy is pretty dumb as they are two very different forwards.

While I agree than Van Nistelrooy is the better goalscorer, I have to fully disagree with the notion that he is a better overall player than Henry. Henry is not just a person who scores goals, but also creates, and the only reasons I can think of why he isn't playing well in Spain is lack of form, and playing on the left wing. Ruud is a great goalscorer, but Henry is the greater player IMO.
