  • "He made Ed Sullivan Sweat"....

That should be at the entrance of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame

  • @p25735 totally agree..

  • He is so right..

  • Steve Tyler, mimic zero talent

  • @elvisorbison77 I've got my grammar goin' for me though. And like I said, personal taste. And the "music masses" involve guitar. Elvis, couldn't play. However, I'm probably wrong since I'm the "stupid foolio" right?

  • Elvis had some good songs, he was a decent singer. But he really couldn't play guitar. He was an icon, I just don't get into him much. He had some good song though

  • @aerofan0627 To appreciate Elvis, you need to look back at what the world and music was like before him. As John Lennon said, "Before Elvis, there was nothing." He was like the big bang of Rock'n'Roll. Elvis was truly original. If you can find the outtakes of Blue Moon of Kentucky, you will hear how they developed the song into a rocker. The early Elvis is the best.

  • @p25735 Like I said, he did have some good songs. As for Lennon, he was a pretty good song writer I just don't like his voice. He did sing good on some of their songs though. The tone fit. But as far as Elvis being a good guitarist, in my oppinion he wasn't that good. I personally wouldn't consider him the "Big Bang of Rock & Roll", seeing as how music is constantly changing. You have people like Chuck Berry who changed rock & roll & people call him the starter of it all. Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith

  • @aerofan0627 Led Zeppelin made their career on taking blues songs that date back to the early 1900's and put a hard rock spin on it...ive never heard anyone say that Zeppelin stole the ''black man's music'...they just as much..if not more, capitalized on a 'black sound'!...but with the hard driving guitar sounds of the time..and the heavy drumming, disguised what was obviously there...and remember...that ''EVERY'' artist..from the beginning of music..had to hear someone else play.

  • @p25735 Rolling Stones, Motley Crue, lots more, they also changed rock and roll. It's just about your personal taste. I have nothing against Elvis though don't get me wrong.

  • @aerofan0627 U ARE STUPID THE POINT IS NOT ABOUT PLAYING GUITAR U FOOLIO LOL ITS ABOUT THE GENESIS OF MUSIC TO THE MASSES

  • I want to see an interview like that about Steven Tyler :>

  • @ukochrono2 He recorded O sole mio (It`s now or never)

  • It simply amazes me how many artists were influenced By Elvis and how deeply.

  • awwesome! wow! 2 of my FAVORITE bands in one chunk

  • Lov`in Elvis!!

    Amen~ Steven! :)

  • "He freaked People Out, He made Ed Sullivan sweat!" I love Steven Tyler!!*********

He is a No Bull sh****** kinda guy I like that!

Elvis Presley will always be the greatest!!! Thanks for this I loved it!

  • :31 Is that Marilyn Manson? Ugh.

  • damn i can't beleive you guys are even camparing elvis and steven in the same catagory, they are 2 diff styles

  • AWESOME! my favorite singer talks about my 2nd favorite singer

  • I know im gonna be booed at but i think Steven Tyler is a better singer than elvis was.

  • @wilby2400 no he is acutally quite good and I do kinda like some of his stuff!

  • @Zecalran I don't think Elvis was a bad singer. I just think Tyler is better. He has a better range.

  • @wilby2400 If you think Tyler had better range you are obviously deaf. Listen to Elvis in the 1970s just years before his death and you will come back here and tell me how wrong you were to make your statement. Elvis's voice ranged from deep baritone base to tenor. Tyler, as great a he is could not then and cannot now sing low tone music and I aint knocking Tyler either. I think he is great. I love Aerosmith. But the truth is the truth.

  • @wilby2400 Elvis is one of they very few Rock singers that could have sung opera. Thats how great his voice was.

  • @wilby2400 I`m sure that Steven Tyler would have laughed his head off if you had told him to his face that he is a better singer than Elvis was. Sure, Tyler is very good. There`s no doubt, but Elvis was a genius singer. He could sing everything, opera, gospel, rock, pop, blues, jazz whatever. I would like to hear Tyler sing opera.

  • @Yellyist he actually might be able to. probably not though. Blech. why would you want to listen to opera?

I just really like the quality to his voice.

  • @wilby2400 Steven Tyler is a great singer, no doubt!

  • The End Has No End

  • I met Elvis and got 3 autographs back in the late 60's! The King.

  • @FaganRoberts Did you really???! How was the experience?? Can you recall all the details??? :D

  • he should talk about John Lennon

  • You can't steal music, it belongs to everyone. There, now shut up! Elvis on tour on blue ray Aug 5th. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

  • um i dont no much about elvis but steven tyler is my shit

  • I'ts nice to hear a late era rock n roller pay homage to THE guy who made rock n roll possible. Steven is a stan up guy.

  • @eatdrt98 ya, Aerosmith even covered Elvis version of Milk Cow Blues

  • @sueellen360 Wow. I had no idea. Haven't heard that song in years. That Sun Session song sort of got lost and overshadowed by so many other great songs from 54-55. I have to find Tyler's version. Hard to imagine. George Strait loved the song and covered it but I'm sure Steven's is awsome 2.

  • @eatdrt98 It's on Draw The Line (1977), one of the best of the album, even better live. "Something by the king" he used to say

  • @eatdrt98 Didn't chuck berry start rock n roll though? jus wonderin , confused bout who came first....i think it was chuck, but jus sayin...they both rock, steven does too.they all make/made great rock n roll music...real music

  • @AceInTheWhole94 Actually, guys like Bo Didley and Little Richard were the first Rock n Roll performers as they became known. Elvis was just so huge that he became the new music's leader. Back then, when they talked about Rock n Roll they included all music that wasn't the previous generation's music. Same thing happened years later when all music was placed under the Pop music banner.

  • @AceInTheWhole94

Nope, chuck didnt started, he was way after Elvis.

  • @AceInTheWhole94 i don't know EVERYTHING about music, but i think chuck berry may have sang in a similar style, but he didn't really have as much of the 'IT' factor as Elvis.. Elvis made it BIGGG, you know? BUt chuck berry is still great:P

  • I'm fed up with the Elvis haters. We his fans, from this moment on should ignore every damn one of them and refuse to acknowledge any comment or anything else that they say. It's not our fault Michael Jackson and your other heroes fell short and couldn't cut the damn mustard. If you want to comment back, fine. But you will be ignored and I suggest other Elvis fans do as I do. But worry the hell out of Michael Jackson fans.

  • steven is so cute! and god bless the king of rock =]

  • Nothing new really...Steve Tyler says what sooo many other great artists also think about Elvis...He was the most influential singer of the 20th century. Hard to belive that so many idiots still question this...well, everybody has the rigth to be ignorant!

  • This is to Elvis' haters. If Elvis is so untalented, if he stole black music and if he never wrote a song, what are you all worried about?

  • @donn409 Actually he did write 2 songs in the 1960's "That's Someone You Never Forget" 1961 & "You'll Be Gone" 1962.

  • This clip is from the VH1 special "Elvis lives"

  • The man knows .

  • Steven is the sexiest man alive!!! Especially in this video...!!! And Elvis is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • was that all? I want the whole interview bout elvis ;)

  • @vanillastrawberry008 do a youtube search for Elvis Lives 2002. The whole episode is up on youtube in 4 parts

  • The king

  • your way of talking makes you a racist.

  • @melkiemelkie How so?

  • why are you talking about black man????????? Do you hate the white???? Why black and white talking????? "It doesn't matter if you're black or white"

  • well, that's your opinion.

  • @monkeytrees people like you sound like a broken record, he never stole shit! And if you don't know what your talking about you should not post, learn the facts.

  • You're not a fan of elvis, but he's the KING OF ROCK.

MJ is the king of pop, isn't he?

  • Two american Kings for two different era's. And don´t forget Tina Turner, the Quenn of Rock and Roll, and ...well I admit it, Maddona, the Princesses of Pop.

  • @websurfer1001 nah..jus cut out maddonna...lol to hell with pop..the only one i think deserves credit is micheal jackson, otherwise fuck pop...this is rock n roll :)

  • @melkiemelkie who elvis or steven hahahahahahahah
