  • man :/ i missed alot im only 14 :)

  • It's too bad the Weather Channel has gone reality TV now. It's a shame, I loved the Weather Channel in the 1980's and 1990's. Now when I want to see a weather report I have to wait until the stupid reality shows are over.

  • Why did I just watch this?

  • I was 4 years old in Christmas 1987..I miss those days so bad.

  • thank you theweatherchazz. The hearing deck the halls as it was played in 1987 on the weather channel local forecast is brings back a lot of great memories, this was the last good Christmas I had, I mean family wise. I remember watching the weather channel on xmas morning hearing DTH play and it stuck it mind and seeing on here brings back the memories like I said. Funny how simple things can bring so much happiness if even for 5 minutes.

  • I really miss the old WC, without all the hype and fluff of today. Just solid weather reporting.

  • 1987 was a bad yr for many who wanted a white christmas. I remember that december well. And holy jeanetta jones 80s hair! Love it.

  • The Weather Channel was cutting edge and relevant back then. Now it is just sad to even watch, especially if you grew up when it was REALLY good.

  • i was born in 1987, wow technology has advanced so much in only 23 years

  • thanks so much for posting this. Kevan and George were hysterical late at night. I spent many hours watching them back in the late 80's, early 90's.

  • How and when did Dave Watson and Charlie Welsh die? Also, how old were they?

  • Wow, this is Old!

  • Damn! To find such an obsure piece of media is amazing. The rendition of Deck the Halls played on the weather channel in december 1987, I have searched high and low.

  • @sinusbradycardia Manheim Steamroller performed it.

  • @jln55 The 1st time I heard I don't know what was so captivating about. I was 14 years old at the time. I didn't have a VCR or I would have recorded it. However, I did manage to record from the middle to the end on a cassette tape. The tape played up until a few years ago. I never thought I would hear it again. Thankfully we have youtube and people take their time to rekindle a little bit of someone's past. Ironically, I'm from MI, but I lived in Mulberry FL at the time.

  • Dave Watson is deceased, just like Charlie Welsh.

  • What a coincidence, I identified the artist of the song at 6:15 yesterday!
