ive beaten wind waker 100% in both first and second modes, I know what Ganon looks like. I still say he is egyptian, since black people always have natural black hair, but the Gerudo have red, which is unatural. So why not just call him Gerudoan?

well, every link is white, so maybe he is an orphan that lives on an island. Technically he would be either caucasian or pacific islander.

The people on the island are just dark skinned because of the sun, and most of them are outside in the game.

The goddess arguement is kind of weak because in OoT, the Deku Tree tells you that the goddesses exploded into the Triforce, so they no longer exist.

Zoras live in freshwater, the ocean is saltwater.

Bring up Majora's Mask, and I say that it's a parallel dimension and they can live in saltwater there.

Geeky Theory Coming Through:

The Termina and Labrynna (Oracle of Ages) Zora probably had hundreds of years to adapt to saltwater. Hyrule just had it dumped on them suddenly.

Not to mention that the Great Sea is filled with dangerous predators that you'd need to constantly be on the move to avoid (which is what the mapfish do) - Zora like living in a single domain.

Labrynnan Zora also had Jabu Jabu to help them out, whereas the Hyrule Zora lost Jabu Jabu to the Domain freezing over.

So yeah.

I don't really think that hyrule is reachable by just swimming down, so I don't think it would matter if the Zora could swim or not. I mean, how else could you find treasure on the bottom of the ocean with your crane thingy.
