Fucking Rush, I'm so glad I discovered them a few years ago (I'm only 24) when my friend made me listen to a cd.

Discovering them made me discover prog as a genre, and I'm so happy for that.

You guys do a really good tribute, kudos.

Also, the drum beat at the end in this song has always been pretty awesome sounding to me :p

This is really very good overall. The only thing criticism is the first couple of chords on the keyboards aren't right. You're missing the middle moving notes. Sounds funny to me.

Hi Chris, at this point we didn't have a singer, in fact this song/band started life as a collaboration between myself (snowdoguk) and hubandre on keyboards, after which drums and bass were recruited. Joe was the hardest to find but what a gem. We will eventually redo this with Joe on vocals. Thanks for your nice comments.

hey, Val... looks like you guys are really getting in sync playing together. this was pretty good. i couldn't really hear Joe on vocals too well, and i heard you... when you appeared on the screen in the video... but then when you disappeared, the bass faded into the background. but, other than that... i thought it was great!

Val doesn't play during the keyboard, it was left to the keyboard bass for that, it didn't really work and I've asked Joe and Val to provide further takes so we can address that. Joe wasn't a member when we recorded this and I had to blend in the original Rush track (at a very low level) for the vocals. Generally when Geddy isn't singing the original track is faded to grey, but it sounded incomplete without the vocals. Hopefully, if Val and Joe submit their takes, we can upload a full version.

Hi Toujour, I must admit I can't hear it but then it may be a case of "can't see the wood for the trees", however I'd be surprised if it was sharp since the parts 1:42-2:07 and 3:34-3:57 would sound horrible if the G was noticeably out (rely on B played on G string and open B ring). What's the point of anything really? I personally hope it paves the way for us to write a bit of music together, play some original songs and have some fun without the hassle a "real" band has to cope with. It's all a question of track availability on the software used to put this together, four video + audio tracks. It was a question of what do we leave out, vocals or some of the bass. An idea for the next one is to mix say the drums and the bass in one video, and then use that video as one track in the final video. Each time we do that of course, the quality degrades a bit more.
